The menu includes a wide variety of Asian food selection. I purchased Pad Thai which I'm very acquainted with but it was therefore oily that I cannot even finish 1 / 2 of it. I believe the restaurant is wanting to do way too many Asian meals whichit is not proficient at. I'm furthermore surprised this eating place got so a lot of awards continuously every year. Unfortunately the meals was horrible.

Food is great, at the very least what my group ordered. The stuffed chiken wings were pretty fine as had been the Tom Yam Kung. Then we'd two seafood dishes that have been OK. Foods was a little greasy however the "children" assigned to my group appeared toenjoy it. I must say i enjoyed the Dalandan fruit juice which is basically a lemonade made out of really small citrus cousins of the lime. I ate there two times with two different groupings, their choice. Place is definitely crowded as well as your plate is a genuine banana leaf but if you need a real plate simply no probs just ask. Good service even yet in a packed location which is a regular which I attended to anticipate in Manila. They're there when you wish them plus they are gone once you dont need them.

The standard of Banana Leaf has deteriorated. It was previously a pretty good cafe, exotic and a welcome differ from the most common Filipino restos. Nevertheless, the quality of the meals has declined. The tastes absence authenticity, and everything will be overly sweet, maybe to adaptto the neighborhood palate. I understand what regional food preferences like from my travels, and the things offered in Banana Leaf is really a significantly cry from the united states of origin.

I was looking towards dining with a pal whom I've not seen in quite a long time and lo and behold I actually was too embarassed that We even suggested to consume there. I just originated from my visit to indonesia and Malaysia and havingeaten their road food does not also evaluate to Banana Leaf menus. We purchased tom yum that is the beginning of my dissapointment, I understand each restaurant might have their own edition of tom yum but theirs shouldn't be known as tom yum. Then we'd the pomello salad that is bland offered with a shrimp that flavor like chalk. After that that horrible beef rendang. It must be known as ginger with beef. I believe the only real think I had been thankful of has been the pandan drink since it eliminates the taste of these food. We didn't even completed our lunch time. Never mind the atmosphere. Also the malay nor the indo will be horrifiedto consume there. Simply being honest.

Stopped set for dinner. I really liked it and the support was very pleasant and efficient. Costs were good too.

I re-visited the branch in Robinsons Mall Ermita - the product quality and volume was low. I got a prawn/shrimp salad and there is simply 4 in the salad. Also had a poultry curry which had just 4 bits of chicken of any dimension.

I simply happened to move this place at lunchtime and it looked great and had several customers therefore i stopped.......wish I hadn't. The food has been bland and the employees were interested in taking pictures of each additional or actively playing on theirphones than helping customers. Maybe I experienced a one off poor encounter but I don't believe so

Among the longest serving dining places in Robinson's Location Manila may be the Banana Leaf. They function Malay-Singapore-Indian cuisine with some food court quality. Recommended dish may be the Pad Thai Banana Leaf Style which appears a cross-breed of Pad Thai and Char Kway Teow, not spicy with flavorful. furthermore my favorite may be the Fried Shrimp Balls (standard frozen products and fried when purchased). Miss the Beed Rendang since it is indeed dry. Nice place at the primary mall.

Had the pandan poultry and some veggie meals and were quite great, but just very costly for the tiny portions. Value sucks and for that reason didn't ever return.
