[2019-01-03] This is one of the stops in the ‘Taft Eats’ vlog of a website friend. I met up with him after going to my bank branch to pickup my ARC card. The chosen menu item for this stop is one of the value meal items, the ‘Beef Kebab Rice Meal’. It is one piece charbroiled beef served with egg, sweet corn chopped tomatoes & onions. This also included unlimited iced tea.

Good enough to satisfy your hunger. Although according to my friend who grew up in the middle east, Ababu food is nothing like their food there. Good serving though, puro kanin.

The chicken kabab meal is a good choice. You get free iced tea if you dine in, however, you will smell like kabab. Side dishes are good like the hummus and pita. However, I was told that their beef shawarma isn’t very good. Overall, it gets 3 stars.

It is definitely enough to fill your stomach, and you really get your money's worth. Taste wise, the food is tasty enough to satisfy a good craving.I dont recommend the BEEF KEBAB cause the portion is small for me.I DO recommend the CHICKEN KEBAB cause its a good amount of chicken. Also the KEEMA RICE MEAL. 💯💯💯

One of the budget friendly Persian eats we had. The cost of every meal was just right for those wanting a bite of legit Persian flavor but on a reasonable price. What’s surprising was that there were still other student budget friendly meals offered in this restaurant. Perfect for the students living nearby. Location was perfect. Ambience and vibe were just right. 👍🏼

Food is reasonably priced and tastes alright. I had their beef kebab rice meal and hummus with pita. The serving of rice was enough but the rice lacked butter. I love hummus and normally order when it’s on a mediterranean menu. The hummus from Ababu’s tasted bland and like something out of a can but for Php 65, the portion was decent. But I won’t be getting this again. Ababu’s is a place I’ll go to if I’m craving for Mediterranean food but lack budget.

Budget friendly meals and we always leave full. Unli iced tea & big servings. Quality of sauces have decreased but this is still our go-to for shawarma or kebab rice.

I like the food and price. It’s balanced meal. Rice, vegies and meets But only thing I don’t like is you might get sweat when you are already sweating from outside or you are not good at spicy food and u accidently tried spicy sauce there. There is no aircon... but the food is good ❤️

Their AC is not working! Visited for the 3rd time and its still hot inside. 🥵. Garlic sauce is too watered down but their hot sauce is the bomb 🌶🌶🌶.

The serving is so small for the price. Had P125 beef kebab meal and it comes on a plate with more rice, and small beef kebab. It's a good one but it's not enough for anyone. It also took long before it was served. Hope they could still improve it.
