This restaurant serves the best kare kare in Manila ❤️❤️❤️The servers were attentive. The restaurant is quiet and peaceful and has a great view of Intramuros.

Great food and nice ambience. the servers were very attentive too. I loved the fried chicken with mashed potatoes. The bagnet was also superb but the veggies were quite under cooked for my liking. My husband who is an extremely picky eater liked everything.

If you’re in the heart of Manila, 9 Spoons at the Bayleaf is a great place for dining with friends and family. Food is very good and reasonably priced and portions are great for sharing. We always get the tartufo funghi pasta because we’re very partial to anything with truffle oil. Come in for lunch and you would almost have the whole place to yourself, but you might have to ask the staff to turn up the AC. The bar upstairs gets crowded at night but has a great view of Intramuros and the surrounding areas.

Place was average. Highlight of this place would be the amazing view of Manila. However, for the food and price, it’s not worth it. The food selection was very limited and the taste was so-so. I do hope that they improve on the quality of their taste and increase their selection or variety of dishes offered. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We had a reservation which they acknowledged a day before. This was not our first time and I know reservations are necessary to be able to have seats in the small restaurant. We have guests who came from the US and an early dinner is suitable for catch-ups. When we got there with the fam, to our surprise there was a debutante party in 9spoons! We were asked to transfer in the skydeck! Clouds were looming and started to rain, we were asked again to transfer to a meeting room at the third floor complete with a projector screen and round tables for which we were the only ones in there! This is one of my worst experiences in a hotel restaurant, if not the worst. They should've told us upon our reservation the previous day, that they couldn't accommodate us, which is what good businesses would do. I don't know why they took our reservation only to be transferred to another place. We did bargain, because it is such a bother to look for another restaurant when all are hungry. But the hotel did not budge. They insisted on what they want.We left full of disappointment and went to The Manila Hotel instead.
