My friends kept raving about this place so I decided to try it myself on my birthday. I wasn't disappointed! Very affordable and delicious. I love how you can get refills on the lettuce, cuz I couldn't get enough. The place is kinda small and maybe difficult to spot if you're not familiar with the place but they always have seats for walk-in customers cuz they're usually not full. They have desserts as well but we didn't get to try any cuz we were already full by the time we finished eating.

This Pearl Korean Meatshop branch was the first one I tried and all I remember is that at that time (about 3 years ago) the concept of do-it-yourself dining has just emerged in Cebu's food scene. Now, 3 years after, they're still up for business and has become an almost immovable figure. Sure, new restaurants have been popping up with the similar concept and jazzier interior design, but you just can't replace the OG of korean barbecue restaurants. A bit of a sidetrack --- for me, no other korean restaurant has matched their spicy tomato tofu soup. Their prices have increased a teeny bit but I'm still happy they're here. Kudos and more power!

My favorite when it comes to samgyeopsal. I think this is one of the cheapest compared to other korean restos. The unli salad is my fav! although sometimes the taste of it isnt consistent but its fine lol
