This is a great place to have tasty bbq. Their bbq's are so delicious you would not want a sauce for dipping. It is accessible, affordable and convenient place to dine in with friends and family or even company eat outs. But expect to be in a long queue of orders on weekends since many are coming here and a battle of having your food immediately will be inevitable.hahaha so be sure you are not that hungry when you come here.

I read a review stating he/she didn't understand what the hype was all about. I agree, I don't get it too! The wait time was long, I can't get soup because it's ALWAYS out of stock and barbeque tastes average. The only thing I like about the place is it's festive atmosphere. A good place to go to if you're with a group and do not mind the chaos. Also, patience is a virtue here so make sure to bring it with you. Deductions:1pt for the long wait0.5pt for the soup running out of stock (I hate it when my rice is dry)0.5pt for the average tasting bbq (not bad but I've tasted better bbqs - AIDA's in Talamban for example)0.5pt for the flies that are sometimes in the tables

Decent BBQ. Good BBQ with calamansi and soy sauce.Buco shake tasted too much like milk.Chaotic atmosphere and service.Not for the prissy.Unorganized structure and service. Hard to park during peak hours.Decent value for money.Eat with family/friends? yes.Date? No.Come back? maybe.

Save yourself the trouble of going here and just head off to Aida’s or Yakski. Their bbq isn’t something you’d crave for. It’s just average. But their bbq is not really the problem: it’s the service. They have lots of crews walking around but they don’t seem to notice you (intentionally maybe?). And you have to wait for sooooo long for your food. I mean waiting is fine only if it’s worth it; but the food was just meh. Also, they serve shakes like Mango, Buko, Avocado, etc. The taste was nothing spectacular yet you have to wait for like more than 40 mins before they will serve it to you. I hope they can improve on their serving time plus the service crews.

Noted for: Their pork belly! It's the best that I've ever tasted!Ambiance:I must say that you might as well try Matias if you dont mind the following: a. Not-so-clean placeb. Unorganized setup. You won't be able to distinguish the waiters from the bussers. That being said, bussers wont take your orders. Only waiters can.c. People eating with their handsFood:Their Pork Belly is a must try! It's really tasty. The taste is somewhere between fried pork belly and grilled pork belly. Their other bbq products also taste good, but I couldnt say that there is something special to them. Price: Pork belly is around P90 per piece (kind of a huge for a belly slice) and it can serve 2 not so hungry people. But like I said, it's really delicious that you'd be able to finish it by yourself. All the other products are priced fairly. Summary:Ambiance - 2/5Food - 4/5Price - 3.5/5

One of the best barbeque here in Cebu. Last time we dinner with my friends in here and the barbeque we ordered was totally delicious. The service in here was fast, it was great so that their costumers won't be waiting to long. I'm proud this restaurant.

We dined here as a group with my friends and husband to check and experience for ourselves the Matias hype. However, I am totally disappointed. The BBQ is really not remarkable. The meat was not tender enough and the sauce did not really satisfy my sweet palate. To add up, the lines are really long and parking is difficult. I still prefer Larsians for the taste though Matias is cleaner.

The smell of grilled chicken meat is definitely inviting. People come in groups to have lunch or early dinner here. A must try el cheapo chicken barbecue place when in Cebu. Their chorizos and liempo are other great options. Just be ready to compete with the flies since you’ll be dining al fresco but under the big trees.

Nothing too special, just another average barbecue place. The pork BBQ sticks are kind of dry, chorizo is okay, but the pork belly is very good. Did not try the chicken or the rice.Parking is kind of complicated, but they have an assistant to help you park and back up.
