I have always been a fan of cafes and going on a cafe hop with my food buddy and partner, Sheen has been one of our favorite ways of spending time together. However, these past few months have been quite difficult for us, so our cafe hopping dates have been less and less frequent. Thankfully, we finally went on it again two months ago (yes this is a major backlog!) when I got invited to an arts and crafts workshop which was held in Cafe Caw. We went there ahead of the schedule so we can have lunch together and try Cafe Caw’s desserts and milkshakes. It was a quick casual Sunday date for us indeed!

Alot of choices were not available when we went there. No soup was available, salad is also not available, only one type of pizza is available. A bit disappointed actually, I frequent this place during college days. I dont know what happened now, they seem to have focused on desserts more. Also, they dont have any softdrinks. As in, none, nada.. and would charge 250php/can or bottle if you decide to bring one. It's a bit "umay" if you have kawali or meat without soda. Please be considerate also, its not your customers fault if you didnt stock ahead of time.

I ordered their matcha smoothie which is P165 and blueberry cheesecake P120/slice. The smoothie was good in the sense that you could still taste the 'green tea' factor of the smoothie itself but it's in the spectrum of sickeningly sweet. It had too much sugar and i cant even finish it. However, their cheesecake tastes nice, heck even better than bannaple's but the blueberry topping tastes rusty. Cute place though. I sat in those swinging chairs.
