We have been to several cafes and restaurants, but one GOOD thing we noticed about Marisse Patisserie was, their high-end customers RESPECT privacy. Most of the time, at OTHER cafes and restaurants, "random customers" who just came in always prefer to sit beside an already crowded table or a couple who's on a date... even though there are still so many other "available" seats to choose from. Because of those types of "random customers", it's so difficult to have a conversation without being heard by them since they're sitting so close to your table. I must say, Marisse Patisserie would be an EXCELLENT choice for an intimate gathering or a date. It is cozy, romantic and has a vacation vibe. You want privacy? Let me preface this review by expressing my gratitude to the LJC Group, and website for an exclusive invite to feast on some of the dishes (17 dishes in total! 😀) from all of LJC's nine food concepts, some of which are yet to be fully offered on their respective restaurant menus starting this September. ♥️ As for Bistro Remedios, we got to try their Paksiw na Pata sa Sukang Puti, and their Ginataang Langka, and Laman-Dagat! 😀 The Paksiw na Pata was so good! The meat was so tender, it almost falls off the bone! As for the Ginataang Langka, what can I say? I'm a sucker for any dish cooked with coconut cream. It had squid, and whole shrimps! It was pretty delicious! Both would be best paired with cups of rice for sure!
