What was striking during my visit in Yayoi was the use of tablets to read the menu and place my orders. No worries though if you get confused because the staff can help in guiding you how to use the tablet.I ordered the katsu toji teishoku and the serving size was enough to make me feel really full. I kinda regretted getting a half-serving of the ebi roll but that tasted good so fine with the extra calories. I liked the miso soup and weird-looking salad in the teishoku. What impressed me even more was the katsu because of the special plate that they used. Even if I was already halfway through eating the dish, the katsu was still piping hot! I liked the sauce and creamy texture of the eggs that were mixed into the katsu pieces.Will try the other teishoku options when I return here.

I loved my order; it brought me back to Japan for a while. I also like that they retain the counter seats for customers who just wanted to be by themselves (single). It’s close to an authentic Japan experience.

Service is exemplary! Very attentive staff and fast prep time. The two remarkable thing with their food is it's fair price and generous servings. Ambiance is fine, not cramped even when fully occupied.

Went there for lunch last December 29 or 30, 2020. I was disappointed on how they served. Parang bara-bara. Yung usherette/front desk lang maayos makipagusap at marunong sumagot/rumespond ng social cues. Server ko was a tall guy. Padobg magserve at nung nagbill out ako tinignan pa ako mula ulo hanggang paa. I dont know kung babalik pa ako. Kung sya ulit server, baka hindi.

Servers are polite and very attentive. This is most of the time overlooked but really, this is why people always comes back to a place.Food is nicely done which is to be expectedGreat job to the team!

glad you got rid of your stupid trainees! (2018). spilled water here and there, dropped a fork here, dropped something there, almost everywhere! gave us the wrong order, some of our food didn't arrive, and we were billed with food that wasn't even our order! the only consolation that's why I keep going back?...food tastes good!
