The sister was craving for Halal Guys. We usually share an order and the rice is always more than the meat so I went around the food hall and spotted Yakitori One.I asked for their bestseller, The Chicken Thigh and couldn't resist an order of Bacon Wrapped Sausages. They must have used the same sauce since they tasted the same, slightly sweet and smoky. The sausages were a bit tough to chew. Both dishes were ok but not out of this world delicious.

Food: As recommended by their staff, I tried the chicken thigh barbecue with rice. It was served with some sauce and pickles. Tender, juicy, flavorful chicken thighs on soft, fluffy rice. The barbecue flavor stands out with its smoky scent and their rice goes perfectly with it.Servings: I find the meal small enough for my size. If you're really hungry, might as well order the 3-4 sticks or more and upgrade their rice to a larger one.Presentation: Cute clean white bowl with nori sprinkles on top of the rice makes it enticing as the color pops out with the barbecues. Location: It is situated along with other brands in the foodcourt. Place is clean but tough to find seats at meal hours since it is just a stall. Price: A bit pricey for just a barbecue, so if you're not the type who likes to order drinks, an average of P200 is enough to fill you. But among Japanese themed yakitori restos around, this is considered cheap. Service: Quick, accommodating and smiling staff. Will I come back again?: Yes. Yes. Yes.

Tried their food for a dinner when I went out with my folks. I ordered the combodon with fish fillet, fried tofu and salmon belly.Well, wasn't satisfied with my meal. The serving was quite small making the price not reasonable. The food tastes good though.

Taste is 5 stars but serving size is small. I ordered chicken thigh and rolled pork asparagus. Both were well prepared and flavorful. The sauce, though a bit sweet, definitely adds volume to this savory treat.

Ahhh how I missed this! I ordered 2pcs of Chicken Karaage and a stick of Cut Steak. Their chicken karaage was still the same - crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside. I just noticed that Yakitori One’s rice bowls now had less sauce vs. the one I had in SM Aura. It’s a downside for people who like it but not for me. Their Cut Steak was also good but honestly, I prefer their chicken sticks more.-----Yakitori One is becoming one of our go-to places in Megamall and it doesn't fail to keep me full after. Ordered one of their BeefDons - 2pcs of Cut Steak. The beef was okay but the sauce is becoming too familiar already. I think they only have one sauce for ALL of their yakitoris.
