Very poor buffet, all buffet lines had a lot of empty serving dishes. I went back 3 times for the salmon Sashimi and the platter was always empty. My wife kept going back for the tempura and it was always empty. I also noticed that the main course buffet line had 3 to 4 empty serving dishes, same thing with the raw meats to grill. Note that we did not dine here when buffet was closing up, we were here at 12 noon. See pictures below for proof of how awful this restaurant was.

Treated my family for lunch yesterday at Yakimix podium. It was my first time to eat at Yakimix and I had high expectations due to the reviews on this branch. We had a reservation for 7 people so we thought there wouldn't be any problems with seating. Arrived 10mins before they opened and there were a lot of customers waiting outside. Most of them had vouchers. I just thought that the staff should have expected this and organized it more efficiently. They should have verified the reservations already and who's present so that once they open, there wouldn't be such a long line. It took 10mins before we were seated and we were at the cornermost table. Our grill wouldn't start and we were given a table for six. One chair placed on the aisle. It was a bit of a hassle for us. When we went to get the food, almost all the meats are gone. It's not refilled immediately, and when they refill it, it's only a half plate. Same with the sushi section. Desserts were dry, there was just one bucket of ice, most of the serving trays half empty and servers were very few. Good thing my family didn't complain much (since I paid for the food lol) but I don't think I'd be coming back here again.

They should give way to walk in guests as well and NOT all for phone reservations.)₩ The receptionist is not approachable as well! I will never go back to this branch again!

Late review :I was with friends on my birthday last May this year. Location is situated at the 5th Floor in The Podium. The place is spacious, chilly ambiance and chic lighting decor. We were one of the first group who came in. Place is well-organized. Staff are accommodating. They have a wide variety of food choices from main dish to salad, dessert, appetizer and drinks. I've tried other buffet resto, I know they are cheaper compared to others and almost same commodity and offerings. I would recommend the place. It's worth the price.

Treated my family for a birthday celebration and made early reservation but was surprised that when we arrived, the staff are so confused with the table assignment. At first they lead us to a room for 20 pax where we've reserved only for 8pax. And then when we confirm if that is the real table for us we've been informed it was a mistake and they mixed reservation and table arrangement. They then provide us 2 separate tables which pissed me off as we are supposed to celebrate birthday with the family. And worst is the staff and supervisor (the guy with glasses - was not able to get his name) seemed to be not really bothered by the mistake they've made and just say "ganun po talaga"! What the hell?!! FOOD? They offer only few dishes as compared to other Yakimix branches. The soup is so bad it taste like almost "panis" and breade fish is terrible as they have fishbones inside which is not to be expected for breaded dish. Griller is also a mess as we have to call staff assistance 6 times as it is not working well. I WILL DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDING THIS BRANCH! BAD SERVICE, ANNOYING/UNPROFESSIONAL SUPERVISOR AND LIMITED FOOD OFFER!

This is for super foodies who loves buffet and Japanese cuisine. I love the pizza tasting like roll with nachos salsa (I felt like pairing it together lol) plus the tempura. Dessert section is good though for me it doesn't have larger range of varieties but the brownies is soooo good!!!!

Smokeless. Haha! No lettuce for the meat. A bit disappointed for that. Though I only tried some food there, I loved it. I love the pizza also. Haha. Then the meat. Thumb's up for that. Just thinking about the food I ate makes me hungry. Haha. That's all!

If it's your birth month then head over to Yakimix, because you wouldn't pay any cent. How it works? Easy peasy, If there's 4 of you in a group, your friends will only have to pay. Haha. Or it'll be your treat. What gotten my attention upon dining at Yakimix is that well, aside from it is All-you-can-eat-buffet, they also serve the only but fresh seafoods, a huge array of makis and my most fave desserts (from gelatin to cake). They also have appetizers, pizza and different soups. Actually everything your taste buds would love to eat. They have a lot of staff, the place was clean, if you need anything they'll be able to provide it in less than 5 mins. It is definitely worth every cent.

My journey to review all restaurants in Podium ends with Yakimix. This buffet place features affordable grilling (yaki in Japanese) meats as its main come on. It's always packed, expect lines once it hits 12nn and 6pm everyday. I couldn't help though and compare them to a newer player, Sambokojin. On a weekday lunch (non holiday), Yakimix is Php 525 net while Sambokojin goes a bit higher at Php 650 net. Which one does it better? The latter by a mile. Yakimix range of choices failed me considerably. They have have a few sashimi choices, a poor Sukiyaki station, limited cooked entrees, sub-par dessert picks and few grilled meats. I found the chicken, pork and beef to have decent marination but had too much fatty portions. Another let down is their sticky floors. I don't get why it was like that especially before noon time. Imagine how it's like at 2pm? I also did not like the airconditiong, it was warm where my friend and I sat.

Celebrated my sister's birthday dinner here. Good thing we were able to get Metrodeal vouchers so we only had to pay a discounted price of P483 per head. Not my first time to go to Yakimix so my expectations were quite manageable. I still love the grilling option which is one of its "unique" touch when compared to other most frequented non Korean BBQ buffets. I also noted that there were not much viand selection except for the raw ones you can barbecue. I hated the sweet and sour pork--worst ones I've tried to be honest. I loved the sausage and tempura (nothing new but exceed expectations). My sister loved the coffee haha. My youngest sister enjoyed the ice cream selection and DIY halo-halo but there's still so much room for improvement for the dessert selection and taste. If we dined here on its original price of P699, it really only deserves 3.5 stars. Not exceptional but my happy and filled tummy loved it just enough.
