I got the Uncle Cheffy Cheese, cheese and Cheese Panizza and I have to say that it is comparable to the 4 cheese pizza of CPK. L loved the clean taste of the herbs and virgin olive oil as it added and enhanced the flavor of the cheeses.

I thought they only serve pizza and pasta. I didnt know they have good selections of meat. So we ordered the ribs.. Which is really soft, then we had the lechon kawali, and it was great. Love the lechon kawali.

Panizza or hand rolled pizza made its first buzz by an Italian restaurant in Pampanga called, C! Uncle Cheffy on the other hand, introduced and re-created it here in Metro Manila. Other Italian restaurants followed. Yellow Cab through their Dear Darla made it mainstream. I was a regular before of Uncle Cheffy because of this and also for their specialized meat offerings. I had one really bad experience in Piazza BGC which enabled me to stop supporting them for years. I gave them another chance today. For their Brick Oven Panizza, I had their creative combination called East meets West. It had Parma ham, salami, kesong puti, salted eggs, tomatoes, mango and 3 cheese. So you have contrast of salty, sweet-sour and light elements. Every bite had a spike of flavor. Toppings delighted but the crust I found too thick for panizza. It also breaks apart rather easily. I also had Lovely Jenny Salad which wasn't exactly its namesake. There was no Arugula. They changed it to lettuce. Also for some reason instead of replacing vinaigrette from original dressing, they gave me just vinegar. I could also not explain the tantamount green apple. The salmon though was delicious.
