When I was younger, I love to play “tea party” with my toys as my guests. (Go blame my sister who was born 6 years later!) I do recall though that I had fun and served real food and air as tea. I guess that pretty much explains why I was a ball when I was a toddler. I never liked real tea though growing up as I found it too Chinese and I hated Chinese food when I was young. (Note: past tense.) But as I transformed to become a website I am now, I got so addicted to tea that every time a tea place opens up or when I pass by TWG, my heart skips a beat. Yes, I have a weird attachment to food.Summer is here and it’s sizzling hot outside! Yet, all I want last Saturday was hot tea. So off I go to TWG to try another brunch set.

Perfect place to catch up with your friends or family. Their extensive list of tea is the expertise of their staff. I have inquired a handful of tea (its infusion, caffeine content, color, etc) and they were able to answer all of my queries. It's not just a place to have tea but to fill your tummy with their delicious sweets from their patisseries (perfect for tea time). And contrary to the belief of most people, it's not very expensive considering the taste, as well as the coziness and comfort that the place offers. Two thumbs up!!

Honestly, it's quite intimidating to enter the tea shop since looks so luxurious with its golden interiors and exteriors. However, if you really want to taste what an authentic tea is, you won't regret paying a higher amount. Moreover, their pastry is mouthwatering. I opted not to give a perfect 5 for my rating because they forgot to serve the macaroons that we ordered, though they included it in our bill.

TWG Tea Salon and Boutique is one of the coziest tea place around Metro Manila. With elegant and beautiful interior. Looks expensive. When we visited the place for dinner we tried the following:🍵 Nicoise Salad for Php455.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5“Southern French inspired salad with tuna confit and perfectly seared tiger prawns infused with matcha green tea, accompanied by a mix of greens, garnished with soft quail eggs, baby potatoes, edamame, sweet bell pepper and olives tossed in a honey lemon dressing.”🍵Seared Matcha Salmon for Php650.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5“Seared salmon fillet accompanied by a medley of summer vegetables drizzled with a balsamic vinegar caramel and Matcha oil.”🍵Neapolitan Beef for Php625.00 - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5“Braised beef in Neapolitan sauce, infused with Comptoir des Indes Tea, accompanied with buttered asparagus and baby potatoes.”The salad was a sure win! It was so good and appetizing. My least favorite will be the salmon ‘coz they served it dry and I can’t find the matcha flavor. For desserts, we had some macarons paired with Moroccan mint tea.#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️

We love TWG Tea mostly for its teas and macarons. This time, we were psyched to try their crepes! :)We shared a plate of Ocean Crepe (PhP 300), which was served with a duo of fresh smoked salmon and creamy leeks tossed in rich cream flavored with Ocean Voyage Tea. Every bite was dreamy and glorious. I could almost taste the ocean. It was slightly salt and appropriately savory. The hearty crepe was paper thin, soft, buttery and delicate in texture. For dessert, we had the 1837 Crepe (PhP 250) which was made with homemade berry marmalade, a blend of raspberry, blueberry, cherry and blackcurrant infused with 1837 Black Tea. It was sweet but not too sweet, tasty, and filling. Both were mouthwatering and the really unique thing about these crepes is that they have just a hint of the tea flavor. They're perfectly light and spongy, luscious, with a very nice aroma. Overall, it was a great lunch with my sister. We'll thoroughly enjoyed the food and the elegant ambiance.

TWG Macarons are the bomb! The cookies are firm enough but still chewy. They do not easily crumble when you take a bite. The fillings are really good, the flavors are not too overwhelming.Note: these were given as a gift and pictures were taken in a different restaurant 🎀

I was able to celebrate my birthday here with my friends and we did enjoy it. Also had tea time quite a few times after that. There are hundreds or thousands of Teas to choose from but everything are nicely organized in the menu and you would only need to focus weather you like black, white, or a green tea, etc. The food is a bit pricey but lovely, plus the ambiance is super classy.

Happy 5th Anniversary TWG! Today is the last day of their 55% off (Everything except Tea). On my way home I made a pit stop here in Shangrila Mall Branch. This branch is located on East wing of the mall. Initially my plan was just to buy a Macaroons for my mom but after browsing the discounted dining menu I started craving haha. So I go for the Beef Lasagna. It was so good. Infused with Moracan Mint Tea the lasagna sauce was epic good! Also love the bits of beef. Yummy. For the Macaroons I enjoyed the Early Grey Chocolate and the Red Velvet.Overall love this branch the staff was very attentive and very accomodating.

I love their french macarons, they are so crisp and the moment it hits your mouth they melt like crazy to release the awesome taste of salted caramel. Also their selection of tea as well as the knowledge of the crew are very excellent. I will definitely comeback because I wanted to try their delectable sandwiches.

Your branch here is SEVERELY understaffed, server-customer ratio is at 1:5. Please consider adding more staff. The tea and ambiance were fantastic! Keep up the great work!
