I heard this place from my high school teacher. She said this place supports our local farmers unlike the other franchised coffee shops. And as curious as I am, i tried searching where this is and eventually went for a drink. I actually love hot chocolates made from tableas and theirs are very rich and creamy. Their rice meals taste fairly good and the sinful chocolate cake which I liked the most is not too sweet and not too bitter as well. The place is great for a peaceful time after a day of hard work.

Spent a week or two in Tsoko nut before my board exam because I love studying at night and not all coffee shops are open 24hours. I always order the batirol hot chocolate and partner it with the cheesy ensaymada. For the cakes, i like the tablea cake and sansrival. I didnt like the barako sponge cake that much cause it was so dry. Try their pastas as well if youre hungry. ????

Pesto with Malunggay for the win, top it all up with their Choko Batirol oh the sweetness from the bitter cocoa.

Sans rival cake was completely yummy! It ain't too sweet and still can satisfy your sweet tooth. Their frappes were okay, ordinary but price is worth it. We will come back to try their other menu like pastas and sandwiches.

I love this place! It's a good place to meet friends at the center of the metro. Food is really amazing and place looks nice. My fave spot is the couch! The rest of the tables are a little bit blah but lighting is good. Service could improve a lot but their not a top chef restaurant so as log as the food is clean and tastes really good, it doesn't matter.

Worth a try!Product: I have been hearing about this place a lot so when I saw it, I had to go. We ordered Chicken Rolls, Coco Liempo, their Houseblend Iced Tea, a Tablea Cupcake, and an Ube Cupcake. First, the Chicken Rolls were not small which is really good for the price. It looked a little pale at first but when I tasted it, it was really good. It was so flavorful and it was easy to slice and chew. The gravy was a little chunky but it didn't really matter because it blended really good with the chicken. The Coco Liempo was like a Bicol Express, it wasn't too spicy though despite the sili bits scattered all over. It tasted good too but there was too much oil, I didn't mind it though. The House Blend Iced Tea was different, it didn't taste like your normal Iced Tea, it was sweet and fruity.. more like a four season flavored Iced Tea. It has like this effect though that when you order it, some foam would sink down. The Tablea cupcake was this bittersweet cupcake, which is like a pastry version of your normal dark chocolate. So, if you like dark chocolate, buy it. The Ube cupcake, wow. It's just the best Ube cupcake I have ever tasted. I hesitated ordering at first because it looked different but my love for Ube got the best of me. It was really good, the best thing about this restaurant is how affordable their food are. Like this cupcake? The taste of this cupcake is just the same as those overpriced cupcakes (which I can't deny, I also love and crave) you buy at malls or elsewhere. Give it a try. It is so worth it.Venue: what I liked about this place is that it stands out, for me at least. It immediately caught my attention which is why I saw it. We went inside and ordered right away, the place was not too big or not too small, just right. I also love their music choices, really appropriate for the ambiance of the restaurant. And it was also cold, most restaurants out there would take away that comfort away from you. I really liked it here. The servers are nice and have great people skills. Good customer service.

Was waking aimlessly through the city and stumbled upon this little bakery shop. It was near closing time(?) so the ladies working in there seemed a little tired and not as friendly. I don't blame them, I'm usually burnt out at the end of a shift too. First impressions: The store is quaint and clean. Tsoko Nut's Coffee selection is a hit or miss- not all are worth it, but the ones that are, are EXCEPTIONAL! Do not leave this establishment without ordering the Tsokolate Batirol (Yeah, I think that's what it was called). It's rich hot chocolate perfection! I got the Mini Carrot Cake as well as the Mangoes and Choco Cream Cake. I really wanted a third cake (Don't judge me, I walked quite a lot just to get here. LOL), the Tablea Cake, but the darn lady in front of me ordered the last one. (Why??? Why??) It's okay, another reason to wander back in again. The Verdict: Mangoes and Choco Cream Cake: light, airy, and not too sweet. Wish there was more mango though... Perhaps as a filling?Carrot Cake: Alright, this one is my favorite of the two. Visible carrot bits all dispersed throughout the cupcake makes me a happy camper. The frosting was creamy, (a little tart, imo) and luscious.Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Tsoko Nut and will definitely be back again.

Food: 4/5I've only tried their kapeng Barako and Yema Sans Rival - perfect combination. :)For those who like dark roasted coffee, you'll surely love their kapeng barako. The fact that their beans are grown loacally is a plus factor for me. Their Sans Rival is not too sweet; the way I like my cakes to be. Price: 4.5/5Very affordable. I only spent less than 200php for coffee and a pastry. Ambiance/Place: 4/5I hate over decorated places. I think this is why I love the place, it was simple. I went there around 10pm, and it was not too crowded at all. Staff: 3.5/5They were courteous but not very friendly. I am not taking it against them, though. They may be having a not-so-good day.

Imma just make a short review. I like their coco liempo but all their food servings are too small. I can get a better serving size a few steps away.

If you want your coffee and hot chocolate bold, rich and strong, and your cakes less sweet, then Tsoko Nut is your cafe. That their hot drinks are served in charming earthenware adds to the appeal.I've tried several of their cakes. While most are just alright, I think they make a better version of the Mango Bravo. The Yema Sansrival is also good, and so is their Mini Chocolate Cake - moist and sticky...and goes so well with sugarless Kapeng Barako.I didn't like their pastas, but I do go for their rice meals for lunch break every now and then. When I do I usually order the Daing na Bangus with Pangat, Chorizo Rice with Salted Egg, or their Beef Tapa with Togue. It's worth noting that their standard serving of rice is more like a half cup.The flavor of the Coco Liempo is good except that what I got was almost all fat so I got turned off. Down side? The Kapeng Barako and Tablea Hot Chocolate almost always take too long to prepare. Also, the staff isnt always as friendly or attentive, unlike in most cafes.
