if you order from website the price for a small gyro platter is 265 + 60 (delivery charge) instead of 229 + 60. Highway robbery. Double dipping. The food tastes like cardboard.

The Halal Guys can improve a lot on its quality of taste and pricing. We are expecting value for money since it is a well known place for some tasty food in the US. The staff are always looking clean which is good. The place is well maintained. Overall almost everything is good. But any restaurant sells flavor and taste, so what good is it if it doesn't taste anything.

I've been to Halal Guys a couple of times. I've always enjoyed the food I ordered especially while it's hot and the best thing about its location here in Megamall is that it's located on a food court so I can order food from other restaurants and enjoy Halal Guys' at the same time. I love their Chicken Platter (Php 229.00): the serving is enough to make one hungry person full. I also really adore their white sauce. It's so flavorful but the taste doesn't fight with the chicken. I don't understand the low rating but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I think Halal Guys is doing a good job with their food.

It is not as good as what I had in US, well I know that it wont be as good. Still, they should maintain what the original halal food should be.

The boyfriend got an order of Small Platter of Chicken & Gyro while I had a GC to a Regular Platter. When we got our orders, I immediately switched with him because the regular one was too much for me.The chicken and gyro combo was yummy. I should’ve requested that the white sauce be placed on the side instead of spreading it on top because it was a little cloying halfway through the meal.

The price of their food is kind of pricey but the serving is big. I ordered the small chicken platter and i wasn't able to finish it because it was big and the pita bread topping were so filling. And they include a hot sauce alongside it. Be careful of their hot sauce, though, because it really is so hot. I only put half a teaspoon and it made the whole platter really spicy. For the taste, it didn't had anything special to it but the white sauce made it really good. The sauce and the dish itself along with the toppings were new to me that's why we tried it at first, and i always watch the food channel and they always feature halal guys so i was kinda excited to taste it. Overall, it was a good experience. I'll only come back if i would crave for it.

Ever since I heard they were opening The Halal Guys here in Manila, I was already excited to try it. Now luckily, since I went on a weekday mid afternoon, there was no line. I ordered the chicken and gyro special for 275 pesos. Looking at the picture, it looks appetizing, fresh and flavorful. Sadly, this small platter did nothing but disappoint me. There were no onions, the sauce was not flavorful and they charged you extra for more. I could not really taste the meat and chicken. The rice, was not even of good quality compared to even the rice you get at your local canteen, except this was yellow. I would not even consider calling this middle eastern as it lacks the qualities that I would associate with that cuisine.

I just spent 200+ for food that tastes exactly like paper. Completely not worth it. For the same price I couldve bought more from the other food joints beside it and it wouldve tasted way better.

The place is located on 5th floor food court in SM mega mall, They serve Arabic food falafel, shawarma. All those who want to eat halal food can have food there. Food is nice but the choices are less.

I had high expectations because of the price. But it's too pricey for this kind of food. The rice was too dry and it was served cool, not even warm! Sauce is not really saucey. Servers not courteous!
