Me and my wife had their unlimited ribs courtesy of some voucher we got off the net.  Their ribs were really fall-off-the-bone soft.  Me and my wife were surprisingly full throughout the day after eating their ribs and this is after the fact that we only had 1 and 1/4 serving.  It certainly was delicious.  The only comment was that their sauce could be more flavorful.

I had a fathers day date with my two girlfriends(wife and daughter) here. I asked for the menu , the waiter drag her Blackboard (hence the name). I was cutting down on meat, so i ordered seared salmon fillet, crispy tofu and dory fillet, pollo de la casa. The taste, texture, and presentation of the dish were truly the mark of a professional chef. I was enjoying my food when an order of US tenderloin steak and braised lamb shank landed on the table next to me. How I wished I ordered meat! I am sure to come back and have a taste of those!

The Grilled US Rib Eye Salpicao is a ripoff. Service is mediocre. Staff makes unusual sounds in the kitchen. It's like you are in a Carindera. Sadly, this is probably why there is just 3 tables on a Saturday night.

My mom saw a feature of the resto on TV so we tried it for kicks--we weren't disappointed! The ambiance is unique, with the day's menu (subject to change on a regular basis) written on the blackboards that served as interiors. We ordered the Rigatoni with Asian Mushrooms, Crispy Tofu and Dory Fillet, Baba Ganoush, and Reese's cheesecake. All were worth their price--my only quip is that the food took a bit long to get served.

I tried the Blackboard by Chef Michel based on the recommendation of @almaluis. The ribs were so delicious and spot on and cooked really well. The meat literally fell off with the simple push of a fork and the knife was not needed much at all.. The place is minimal in design and the concept of the place is good. Apart from the ribs, i do hope to try some of their other dishes and hope they are as good and worth it as their ribs are.

For this day, we decided to eat here for dinner. I was informed that the menu here is different every day so I was excited to try the menu for the day. We ordered the pollo, dory and baby back ribs. I was disappointed with the taste of the baby back ribs because it is tasteless. The pollo contained less chicken than I expected but it was somehow satisfying because of the potatoes. The dory and tofu was the best meal we ordered because it has a balanced taste. All in all I was expecting more on this restaurant so I will not hesitate to come back here to confirm if this is just a bad day.

I am rarely at the Podium but the three times I was here I hung out at The Blackboard by Chef Michel. This time it is for an event. I enjoy how the place is very cozy, they have several function rooms hidden by a curtain... all mysterious and perfect if you want a bit of privacy.The Blackboard prepares a variety of dishes. Asian, Italian, Western, French, Mediterranean and so on. Believe it or night The Blackboard has no physical menu! Yes! they write everything on their blackboard. NO PRINTED MENUS. In conceptualizing the name of the restaurant, Chef Michel and his partner Issa of a name that could be easily change as their ever changing menu. Blackboard seems perfect.  Since I was there for a media event by a different company, the Blackboard prepared a buffet for the guest. I enjoyed their salad with light vinaigrette. Their Carbonara and the very lovely fish with tofu, sorry I forgot what they were called. I also love their panacottas in those beautiful colors! It was not sweet at all! I think I had 3 of those. I would probably go back a third time to The Blackboard just to see what specials they had coz they change it every single day.

"The Blackboard" is a good place where you can chill and catch up with your friends. Aside from their delicious food, the place is nice and quiet. The price is seemingly expensive but worth it.

Saw that they were offering discounted vouchers for this place online. So I bought a couple of them for my family and we ventured off to this place last month. The voucher was for unlimited ribs with sides. The ribs were really huge in serving. The taste was really excellent and the meat was soft and tender. The sides also really complimented the meat and i particularly liked their mashed potatoes. Would love to go back to this place with or without a voucher in hand as a dish this good is certainly worth paying full price for anyway.

I saw this place a few months back when my family and I went to Yakimix. It looked interesting enough so I tried it out one time. The best dish here is easily the ribs! Fall of the bone, juicy and flavorful ribs that I do not have complaints about it. Will definitely come back here for more!
