Teppanyaki Brothers is a japanese themed diner having their foods prepared just about 2 feet away from the customers. Yup, that close! Just the breadth of their countertop separating the diners from that graceful tossing of vegetables, the skillfull slicing of meat, the generous explosion of spices, the sudden rising of cooking flames and the amazing encounter of kitchen turners and spatulas! Maybe I made it sound scary but all I'm saying is it was like the iron chef experience LIVE!Now for the rundown of the food, first on our table was their soup. I never had that strong liking with the Japanese miso soup but having to taste it yesterday was just nostalgic. It's like going through the whole experience of my visit to Japan 9 years ago. That strange leafy taste as if falling short from the rest of the flavors but in all sorts will connect to your appetite with a pleasing fashion. Nothing fancy but in essence, you know it is healthy - reflection of that simple yet practical aprroach of Japanese living. Their beef tenderloin matched with buttered veggies is good too. Not crazily good but enough for what you have paid for. Besides, I am always a fan of what I call the off-the-cook-book way of cooking so to see my food prepared right before my eyes with pepper, salt and all the seasoning poured all based on the guts of the cook, it's already a treat! But i will opt for less salt next time:)Overall, it was a great experience. It could be the closest Japanese food experience in Megamall having authenticity and budget into strict consideration. And oh, they have this interesting way of breaking their eggs so you might want to challenge their cook for some short exhibition:)

Finding this place was serendipity. Nestled in a niche at the food court, the place would have been easy to miss if it did not create a world of its own. And what a world! Even in the midst of the bustling, noisy SM food court they cook up an enticing atmosphere, with the long table around the cooking areas where the cooks and chef skillfully practice their trade.Said chefs and cooks are a treat to watch while you wait for your order. One of them, knowing he had an audience, even put on a show while making the fried rice. The food itself is excellent, and the spicy version of the beef does not follow the typical pinoy version of spicy, which is little more than just a sting. The real star of the show was the fried rice, however, so I highly recommend upgrading to fried rice instead of ordinary.Their prices are rather high compared to their neighbors at the food court, but with such quality and skills in the staff I'd say you're very much paying a bargain price.

Nothing really special about this japanese themed resto except for the way they serve your food. I don't really find the food that appetizing. The rice has an inexplicable taste, the vegetable is overcooked and the beef is tough. Hope they improve though. kudos to the chef who can do wonders with their spatula and egg.

Great teppanyaki food like beef teriyaki paired with japanese white rice and mixed vegetables cooked in front of you inside a food court. Budget friendly prices.....

What best foreplay, I mean, appetizer is it to have to food prepared in front of you? With their fast "hand action", by the time they finish preparing your food you you'd be hungry just enough for you to start raving into your bowl of freshly grilled beef.Dollops of butter may sound like eating meat for a vegetarian if you're trying to eat clean, but there's an age old saying "Butter makes everything taste Better".I heed that.Good food, best price, fast service. Couldn't ask for more.

I love teppantakis and i can say that this is one of my favorites! The dip of the cream dory is amazing. Im not a fan of ginger garlic and onion but when u dip your fish into it, uuuggghh..flavors in your mouth will explode! I really loved it! Plus it is very affordable. I also love the experience of dining while the your food is being prepared in front of you. I felt like i was in japan :)) much better if they would have more space than they have right now in mega. i must say i was satisfied! #creamdory #beefteriyaki #teppanyaki

What's more unpleasant feeling than not able to eat the food you like? It's forcing yourself to finish the foods you don't like! We had our dinner here today and this is the second time I eat here. We ordered beef and pork set. It consist of beef/pork, yasai itame, rice and miso soup. The cashier ask If we want fried rice and since I haven't tried their fried rice yet I said yes. Wrong decision. The fried rice is bitter(burned garlic) and salty. The pork was also salty. They served the veggies when were almost done eating. And it was late not because they were still cooking it but because no one from their crew served it right away. It was there near the counter unattended. It was served not until I called the cashier and reminded her about it. I don't want to finish the food anymore. But I'm not fond of leaving leftovers on my plate. So I ate everything.. It was not a good experience.. :(

Had dinner here last week. Ordered chicken teriyaki while my husband had the Pork set which includes miso soup and bigger serving of stir-fried veggies. They tasted the same because of the sauce. I like the miso soup. I also enjoyed watching while they prepare the food in front of us. I just noticed that they don't serve the food right away and they're not proactive in cleaning the area once the customer leaves.

It's not your typical food court set up. Here you actually sit with them and they cook your dish in front of you. It's not a new thing but I do welcome innovation like these. They have Teriyaki. Teppanyaki though isn't mentioned in the entire menu. Wait staff says everything not teriyaki is teppanyaki. So what's the sense? I found out that difference between teriyaki & teppanyaki is that teriyaki is a dish with sauce or 'terri', teppanyaki is cooked on a 'teppan'. Their Sliced Beef wasn't appetizing. It had a metal-ish after taste. The Chicken Teriyaki was sumptuous. It was prepared well with a nice sweet sauce. On price points, there is value here. Dishes are affordable especially their rice bowls that range from Php 99- Php 120.

Located at food court. Love the food. It's great because its open space and you can see how your food been cook. What I love is that they have this IMbento(invention). You can choose from beef, pork, or chicken to yakisoba or vegetables. I do hope they can do the same with their drinks. But overall I love it.I can definitely came back one more time.
