I love the restaurant decor and ambiance. Great for casual dates. Service was good. Servers know the menu for website 1+1.The risotto was okay but too salty for my liking. Rice was cooked the way risotto should be. Steak was cooked right. I will come back to try their pasta and rice meals!

Did not expect that the quality of food is superb. For me, the serving portion does not meet the price value. We tried the roasted beef and beef kimichi bowl.

The steak here was okay, meaty enough in taste but not much as in actual steakhouses. Also, it was tender enough without any significantly tough ligaments to chew on.  Nice combination with the eggs. Was craving for that creamy texture in a risotto but had a few mishaps. The creaminess and taste I was looking for was actually there. But the rice was undercooked. Initially they said it was just because the rice they used was different and the texture isn’t supposed to be fluffy white rice. It wasn’t because the rice they used was different, there’s actually a solid white part in the center of the rice grains which is an indicator of being undercooked. L We brought this up and the manager checked and confirmed that it was undercooked. So they cooked it further. I was really hungry so I just ended up accepting it even if there are still some uncooked grains after they returned the bowl to our table…

Love the combo! Pasta size is very generous, good for 2. And both are so delish! The Crispy Honey Garlic Chicken rice bowl has indeed a crispy chicken on the outside, not so sweet but seems well marinated that you'll enjoy every bite of its juicyness on the inside. The pickles on the side (onion/cucumber) is so tasty and compliments the flavor of the chicken, something u would not want to put to waste.Moving on to the Spicy Pomodoro.... it definitely would satisfy your craving for a tomato seafood pasta! Take note of the spicyness though, as it will kick you esp while its hot! ;)

Got the rice bowl on a 1+1 promo from Booky. Overall it’s an okay dish, it’s something I’m familiar with already. The milkshake was a bit overpriced.. maybe because of the metal straw? 😅 I’ll try their other dishes once things get back to normal and I’m able to go here again.

From sunglasses to café, sunnies is here to give us the laidback summer vibe. Their place has that relaxing and chic atmosphere with it’s glass walls, bright lights and plant decor. They offer vast selection of meals, the type of food people usually have while chilling, such as all day breakfast, rice bowls, pasta, dessert then milk shake to cocktails. My friends had the umami surf and turf (brown rice topped with marinated salmon and hanger steak) and garlic beef ribs (angus beef that was sautéed in garlic and served with brown rice). I ordered the mrs. bolognese, beef based sauce combined with tagliatelle pasta then sprinkled with parmesan and parsley. Each serving is good for one. The food presentation was pleasing however the taste is not that impressive. The pasta has chunks of beef but it was a bit oily. I also noticed that the steak on the surf n turf was not cooked evenly. And some part of the garlic beef were burnt. Given that the price wasn’t cheap, we were expecting more with regards to the quality of food.📷: Erika P. 😊
