After a tiring shift, KP decided that he will take me to Sonsi's, he likes longganisa but I'm not much of a fan.. but the food here at Sonsi's is actually good.. also considering it's price. It's very cheap and good meal so what more can you ask for. The place is also nice and clean. KP had the Alaminos Longganisa which was garlic-y in flavor and smokey.. and I had the Baguio Longganisa which is more on the sweeter side. Meals include atchara, fried egg and iced tea. They also serve beer below zero! I love it! Will be coming back here when I'm craving for good longganisa.. They also sell their longganisa if you wish to take it home and cook it for youself.

Best longganisa in town! My fave is vigan but you can try the platter. We used to buy fresh longganisa for breakfast coz they sell it at their store. Beer with pulutan are available as well. 👍👍

A great place to eat, drink and have good conversations with your friends. Foods are good and not overly priced. Have the longganisa platter and a bottle of beer. It would surely take the stress out from your day.

Sonsi is a resto bar inside Madison Square in Mandaluyong that offers a variety of longganisa from all over the country. Its name is derived from the owner, John Sison. They have different kinds of longganisa from different provinces. For around Php150, you can have a filling lunch or dinner with a longganisa of your choice, garlic rice, a fried egg, and an iced tea. Definitely worth it. If you can't stay, they also sell frozen longganisa. As the resto bar sells liquors, they also offer delicious bar chows like calamares, chori pizza, and sausage with dip. Definitely a must-try if you are in the area. I love the calamares fried perfectly and dipped into the bagoong-calamansi sauce.
