I visited this Japanese restaurant together with a client and my bosses. The restaurant looks very elegant inside out. Since I was not sure what to order, I decided to order their Teppanyaki Set Meal. It has assosrted seafood and beef teppanyaki with Gohan, Miso Soup and Fruits or Ice Cream.I was really excited to try out my order, they started to serve us with the Miso soup which is just balanced miso flavored soup and then with some fresh salad. When main meal arrived, I immediately tasted my beef and it was so tender. The squid was cooked right and the fish was juicy and perfect. For dessert I ordered their Green Tea Ice Cream which is also refreshingly good.My personal rating for the restaurant:Food: 4.0Service: 4.0Place: 4.5Happy Eating, website Day Out

Been here over a year ago but Senju remains to be a japanese favorite. Aside from its curated Japanese dishes, Senju has rooms where a family can dine japanese style-- sitting on the floor. Love :-)

The ingredient's freshness is good. The environment is nice with no doubt. But since it's Shangrila, be ready that what you have is way less than what you pay..

Good weekend buffet. Sashimi is good quality except the uni. Ugh, they shouldn't store several days spoiled uni in fridge behind the sushi station. Turned liquid soft and brown. Throw it away!! Beef teppanyaki could be higher quality and not so chewy. Service always attentive.

One the best Japanese buffets I’ve tried. My go-to stations are: 1) Of course first stop is salmon sashimi! a bit of salmon and/or tuna aburi and kani salad for my greens. I don’t get much maki or sushi so I don’t get full right away. 2) Then for my main course: the on-the-spot teppanyaki station is a must. They cook beef, shrimp, fish (your choice of 1 or all) in salt & pepper while you wait but my TIP is - insist to cook in butter & garlic too!! Super good!!! That is if the assigned chef is kind enough to go into the kitchen to get some (kudos to Alvin earlier who heeded my request and made the whole family truly enjoy our meal! it was the star!). 3) Other dishes that in my opinion deserve attention are the Japanese fried rice, Gindara teriyaki and Soft Shell Crab tempura. I saw a sign with Wafu Burger but for some reason every time I passed by to get some, there wasn’t any left so sounds good but didn’t get to taste it. 4) And for dessert: I like the lemon meringue tart to take away the “umay” and the coffee jelly (instead of ordering coffee) but the BEST one of all is the Green Tea Creme Brulee. My tip is hoard them even at the start, it’s tiny so get 5! I’m not kidding! 😀
