Pie Face, my face or your face? Oh yes, I will smash some whipped cream pie on your face. Lol! I’m just kidding, but I did do that years back to a few people years ago when I was a kid. Someone got their revenge once, and it was super funny.Pranks aside, Pie Face is nothing like that. It’s a little café that serves Aussie (Australian) meat pies. The obvious classic would be the Classic Aussie Mince, plus a few other varieties like Chunky Steak and pulled pork. With it being a café, of course they have other dishes to offer like pasta and salads, and of course, a bunch of coffee drinks too. Well with it being my first visit, I really just ordered some pies. So I got myself a small Chunky Steak and a small Chicken and Mushroom pie. The small options were great so that one can eat different pies and not just get full with one big pie. And the cute faces on the mini pies only seem cuter. The small pies were filled with big flavors. But with me wanting thing spicy, I had to put some Tabasco sauce. The pie crust was flakey and buttery, while the fillings were wonderfully meaty.I love the concept of the faces on their pies. Each face, from a smile to even a frown determines the what the pie is stuffed with. But its just the meat pies that have the face designs, the dessert ones, I think just lines, I maybe wrong. I never looked closely into detail. But I think it would be nice if they had a big dessert pie with a smiley face on it. Dessert incoming! Then hit your friend’s face. Lol! Again, I’m kidding. The prices are quite affordable. P50 for the mini pies were anything but a rip off, as they were filled properly with enough meat than just loads of sauce. Obviously you will get more bang for your peso with the big pie options. As for service, service is excellent. The servers know what they’re selling and will give their opinion in which is better if you ask.Plus, the guy that took my order did notice that I was disabled with my limp. I was born that way. He was going to carry my tray to the one of two tables that still had a spare chair and ask the other customer if I could sit down. I stopped him though and told him I was fine with sitting at the high barstool area at the side. He asked if I was sure, worried I couldn’t get up and fall. With some effort, I got up on my seat as he stood behind me making sure I didn’t fall. And whenever I needed something like a drink, he got it really quick, not letting me move from my chair.Overall, great place with great food, ambience, and service to match. I can’t wait to go back and try the other meat pies.Lamb anyone?

I was craving for something sweet when I passed by here earlier so I decided to try one of their cakes. I got their carrot cake which is good, but nothing special, it taste like the usual carrot cake. The cake is worth 100 pesos per slice. The price is reasonable.

We ate here after a big meal. I remember its friday and they have a promo of buy 1 take 1 for frappe. But I'm not sure if they have a promo every friday. For me the frappe needs a lot of improvements but the breads are good. I haven't tried their pies maybe if I were to eat here again that's what I'm going to order.
