Ordered 2 pepper lunch meals for delivery via website.Beef Yakiniku - good tender beef strips with yellow corn and veggie sprouts and rice - quite flavorful and complete as a meal.Teriyaki Double Salmon - two slices of thick salmon flavored just right with Teriyaki sauce.Great place for one-dish meals

The beef never fails to impress me. Whether it's thebbasic pepper lunch or of someone has the budget for it, The Giant! So far one of the most affordable steak house/ fastfood I know. The service is exceptional too. Maybe it's time they upgrade their menu and offer unlimited steak?

I still remember the very first time I heard about Pepper lunch. My cousin, Kuya Paolo, sent me a facebook message that lead to the video demo of how to eat the Pepper Beef. I kept asking myself how something so seemingly simple could have me so mesmerized. .         It was the simple things.. How the butter melted into the corn.. how the corn was gently mixed into the rice.. the soothing hiss of the meat on the sizzling plate, that really had me sold on the idea of Pepper Lunch, to the point that actually tasted it seemed more or less just semantics. But I was very much pleased that when I stood in that long line at Rockwell for my first taste, it surpassed my wildest expectations.

Pepper lunch is one of our go to places when we're feeling we just wanted to eat something good. It always doesn't disappoint. The legendary jumbo beef pepper lunch with cheese is our all time favorite here. This time though we felt adventurous and ordered another dish the gc rest omelette with curry Hamburg. It was good as well but the award still goes to the legend! :) to capped off we ordered the matcha ice cream and love it tooService is staff is commendable as well. Store is spacious and clean. I love this branch!

A sizzling plate dinner could never go wrong especially if you are a fan of Pepper Lunch. There ain't no line to this branch even on a Sunday night so it's a good go-to place for family dinners when everybody in the entourage wants different things. The meat component might be a bit too skimpy for me for most dishes so better get the Tokusen "Big" Rib-eye Steak (Php635) or go for The Giant (Php660). Really good amount of marbling of fat and tender. Just make sure you don't overcook it. Needs a bit more seasoning for me.The curry dishes might be a little bland if you are used to the other Japanese curry joints. Sprinkle some chili peppers if they have it on hand. For dessert, try the ice cream. It's a little bit less creamy than I would want it to be. But the Matcha (Green tea) is worth trying anyway.
