Overall this pricey restaurant in Edsa Shangri la was good, but not great. The complimentary bread was just great - almost a foccacia but not quite. Freshly baked, it paired well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Carpaccio di Manzo was ok. The Linguini alle Vongole was good though not superior to that served in other good Italian restaurants. The Baked Chileans Sea Bass was just ok. Tiramisu was very good. The Zuccoto Toscano was too sweet and we didn't taste any brandy in it.Ok, but not memorable.

Here for a business lunch. The hard Parmesan lifted the insalata mista. Found the Caciucco (seafood soup) excellent. The lamb chops were a tad dry, but the truffle sauce made up for it. Probably better ordered medium rare. Ambiance and service is what you might expect at a Shangrila.

The place's interior was well decorated, the atmosphere was very cozy and thats probably the only positive thing I can say. The service was bad we had to wait for 40 minutes to get our orders. I ordered risotto di mare. It wasnt what I would expect for a dish that expensive. The risotto was a little rough and the fish had a weird taste it (not sure if its that fresh). I also ordered an overpriced panacotta which was quite disappointed with, it wasnt that smooth.

It was dinner and I was hungryFood - the food was good but not spectacular. I ordered the lobster bisque. Phenomenal you can taste the poached lobster tail. For entree i did king prawns 500 mg garlic mushroom sauce which was average due to Wait times.Service - slower than syrup ???Ambiance - it felt old. You can see cobwebs Cost - pricey ?

Paparazzi  inEDSA Shangri-La is also a nice place. Very elegant and you will know that the restaurantis really very fancy. I dine here with my boss to attend a meeting. I am notreally a fan of authentic Italian dishes (feeling ko sobrang sosyal) so just I orderthe safest their Risotto. It is okay I like it I was able to finish it but itis not the place I will go back or I would love to share with my family. I feltI am not match with the place hehe but everything is good.
