Pancake House has always been one of my favorite casual dining places in town. The framed movie posters on its walls add to its appeal. Their specialty of course is the pancake. But aside from the great pancakes, they also offer Filipino breakfast rice meals, pasta, steaks, roast chicken and beef. Tacos here are really good. I highly recommend the following: chocolate marble pancake, hot roast beef, hot roast chicken, tacos, fried chicken and milk shakes.

I recently re-discovered pancake house. Their pancakes are just delicious. I ordered the basic pancakes and I was blown away. I tried their chicken as well but I did not expect to like it as much as I did. It was surprisingly good!

Apparenly well done means rubbery and tastes like paper... not worth the price of the steak at all. I've eaten at other Pancake House branches and their steak was always good so I don't know what happened with this one...

Pancake House is that restaurant me and my family eat at whenever there's a special occassion! Especially on my birthday, we'd feast on their famous pan chicken and chocolate marble waffles. Then we'd catch a movie after. We usually have it in Robinson's Galleria. They are renovating right now, so me and my friend decided to have it in Megamall instead.I swear to god, I've eaten at Pancake House for so long I believe the servers who were at their Robinson's branch are temporarily in their Megamall one. I remember them serving us since I was in grade school!Anyway, so my bff opted for their roasted beef and I, of course went for their pan chicken. I might as well have died and gone to heaven, 'cause it's still the same best pan chicken we've had throughout so many years. The gravy that goes with is even better than KFC's.I can't be sure and can't confirm, but I believe Lea & Perrins might be a secret ingredient. Or maybe Knorr! Original Seasoning too. Hehe.Ohhh and yes!!! I had my traditional rootbeer float.Did you know that it's not actually made out of rootbeer, but is actually Sarsi? Cross my fingers and hope to die, it is! I've known this secret since 10 years before. :)Would've given a 5, but their serving time was a bit slow. I was starving by the time the food came. But totes worth it!!!

It's my first time to try their Pork Belly today and I was a bit disappointed. First, the serving was too small and had lots of fat part in it. It was cooked tender and the outside had just the right (fried) texture. It didn't feel oily but the one I got had a thick part of fat. I guess it was "balanced" after all. Haha. My plate included corn and carrots, mashed potatoes and gravy. The gravy was a bit okay but it would be really good if it had more flavor in it. Also, I hope they could add an option to change the mashed potatoes side with plain rice.I also ordered their Vanilla Milkshake which was another disappointment. I was expecting that it was sweet, heavy and thick. It tasted like milk was just blended with whipped cream. It was thick at first but it loses its texture halfway. I only got to taste milk when I was almost done.
