Extremely overpriced especially considering the food quality.I've stopped buying hotdogs but do miss it from time to time. At times so much so that I find myself wandering in search of a hotdog sandwich. I chanced upon Mr. Frank's Hotdogs while window shopping in Shangri-la and could not resist after seeing their poster-sized menu. I ordered the Jersey Meal. All-beef frank, jalapeño, Italian sausage and bacon bits - how can you go wrong, right? Well, the supposed all-beef frank didn't seem all-beef. It wasn't chunky enough to be all-beef and hardly tasted of beef. Kids can tell, moreso I. I wouldn't have banned hotdogs at home if I didn't love it too much.I wished for redemption in the nachos with cheese but alas, it wasn't to be had. The nachos wasn't very fresh judging by the lack of crunch, and the cheese sauce lacked flavor and seemed like it was diluted. It was very disappointing especially since I had quite high expectations from the pictures in the menu and the 298-peso price tag. I was so disappointed I had to find me a good hotdog sandwich after.

I ordered "The Manhattan" which was described as hotdog with egg and "caviar". I should have known there won't be real caviar in there. They should say "crab roe" instead as that's more fitting. It's the first time I tried this joint as my favorite was good ol' Sabrett, which was no longer there *sniff*The egg salad topping was a quite interesting addition to the hotdog sandwich. It was filling. The sausage was good. But I still think it's a little overpriced at P175.00

Mr. Franks does have some interesting hotdogs and nachos to offer. The hotdog and bun are very much average and a bit overpriced. Got to try the....Paradise - bacon with coleslaw. Good sweet and fruity flavors of the pineapple and raisins that works well with the bacon and the hotdog. Buttero Nachos - with chili con carne, bacon, sour cream, sausage, Monterey cheese and jalapeño. Better eat it quick coz the nachos get soggy. Serving is small even for the large.
