No photos for this one because I was so bummed with what happened during our last visit here. I ordered the fried spring roll with kutchay then after a few minutes, my mom made an additional order of spring roll. The staff informed her that there was no more stock but they can still cater to my order. After about 10 minutes, the staff informed me, "Wala na po palang spring roll". I saw a table getting an order of it but I wasn't in the mood to argue so I ordered wanton noodle soup instead. The broth tasted bland -- not sure what it was supposed to taste like. The final straw was seeing this big cockroach hovering on one of the walls in the dining area. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Not going to come back here and will just visit their other branches for my spring roll fix.

I like so many things on their menu! My go to lunch place. Rice toppings, dimsum, dry noodles. Good portions and they serve house tea. So sad they no longer serve beef tendon. But that's ok, their beef brisket is as good. 😊

I really liked Luk Yuen when before but now, it is just OK. It is still the go-to place of mall-goers for a familiar and comfortable Chinese restaurant.Their halo-halo congee is still my favorite and I haven't tasted or found anything similar in other Chinese restaurants, so I would always still come back for their congee. The lemon chicken is delicious and the flavor of the lemon still stands-out. The Noodle Soup (Beef Brisket and/or Wanton) is still a good order.

I've no comment on the food as it is as good as always. We got 2 congees and 2 bentos. As expected, the congees arrived first. We expected the bentos to be served after 5 to 10 minutes. But no, it's way longer. We had to follow up 5 times since it's way passed the service time they said. When it was finally served, the excuse was "hindi naisabay".

Affordable. Flavor and quality of food exceeds its price. You won't be disappointed after trying their bowl of congee and/or noodles. Best Beef and Wonton Noodles I ever had. Great tasting Dim Sum. Family favorite choice of dining when we go to the mall.

I was looking for something salty or umami but I wasn't looking for a heavy rice meal. So a soup made for a perfect bet.Luk Yuen's Beef Brisket (₱120, small), thankfully, didn't have too much noodles so it was just right. The beef cuts were tender; the tendon (or so I thought) had turned jelly-like. I put the chili flakes for some added kick -- I love chili flakes too much. That's why I ended up drinking lots of water but that's OK!Unlike what's pictured on the menu, the noodles in the actual meal were rather thin. But I wasn't exactly beefing about it (pardon the pun), I just noticed it. The noodle soup was good overall! 🍜

We ate here last Monday. See pictures below of our orders:Wanton noodles: good, usual wanton taste. Meaty and tasty wanton. Seafood roll: yummy! Full of crab meat and bits of carrots. Must try. Spareribs and chicken feet, stuffed eggplant toppings: tasty and satisfying. Hakaw: delicious, tasty and satisfying. Will definitely go back for more.

Probably one of the restaurants in Metro Manila that I will not go back to. We were hungry at the time we ate there but still we couldn't swallow the food. It tastes bland and sad and everything bad.

I always order beef brisket noodle whenever i have the chance to dine in Luk Yuen. But this branch was a disappointment, the distinct flavour was not there and the siopao bun was not as soft as before. My comparison is the branch in greenhills. Quality just is not the same anymore.

Luk Yuen used to be among my favorite dimsum places in Ortigas (SM Megamall) and Greenhills. After quite a while, I returned here yesterday to taste my usual orders. I got the pan fried meat dumpling and pan fried beancurd roll. My verdict? Pan fried meat dumpling was good as before, but the pan fried beancurd roll was bad - it looked and tasted raw! It was bad enough that I had to let them fry / cook it more. To be fair, they accommodated my request, but it still wasn’t up to par with my expectations. The place looks better now; I guess they did some rehab / upgrading. Service, though, was lacking. The servers were either hiding inside the counters or talking loudly about personal stuff.
