For many years I’ve seen Kipp’s Chicken and always skipped on them. They only offer two products and the overall establishment just looks unexciting. I finally did tonight since my curiosity got ahead of me. So I got to try their Fried Chicken and the Burger Steak. The chicken was too ordinary, it’s like what an amateur would prepare at home. It’s accompanying gravy was watered down and bland. The other offering was even worse. After a bite of their deep fried burger steak, I set it aside and didn’t bother having another serving again. It was like eating carton. And who deep fries a beef anyway?

Skin was crispy. Seems like they double fry the chicken. The rice was a little bit overcooked IMO. Gravy was salty. I’d say chicken was ok but I would have been happier had I gone for Chicken Joy. I’d say taste is roughly same as Tom Sawyer’s. the latter will be the better tasting among the two.

Kipp's Chicken has always been my favorite place to eat ever since I was a kid. This establishment is highly underrated. I used to eat at the Foodcourt branch in SM North.
