Kimono Ken is casual dining that is affordable and comforting for the not so average website. There's so much in their menu that my family and I enjoy ordering time and again. So to list, these are some of my favorite dishes:1) crunchy chicken teriyaki (with chahan rice) 2) miso ramen3) ebi tempura (5pcs.)4) salmon teriyaki (with chahan rice)5) yakisobaThese are my personal recommendations which I'm pretty sure you'll have s hard time not liking. Kimono Ken's quite a treat, folks!

Let me share to you the review of my friends from what they ate.1. Pork katsu curry - They curry sauce is good and it compliments with katsu. I don't lang what the pickles are made of. (3) -Gelo2. Shoyu ramen - The stock is heavy with MSG. (3) -Irish3. Pork katsudon - generally, I don't think you can't get wrong with katsudon. (4) -Irish4. Green tea ice cream jelly - perfect! The green tea compliments the grean tea jelly and the sweet taste of syrup at the bottom. (5)

We've always been a regular especially their branch here in Shangri-La plaza. You'll always be greeted by their friendly staff and they're very accommodating. You can even see the manager roaming around, even taking orders and concerns not just standing in one corner. Price is a little bit more up scale compared to other Japanese restaurants but you'll definitely get what you pay for. Great quality food and they're always consistent especially their Philadelphia roll.

The staff are very welcoming and they recognize customers who are regular in the restaurant, for they already know our usual orders. :)- Food quality is really great and consistent.- Ambiance is nice- Location is a little weird since it is located on the basement level of the mall and within the food court.

Authentic Japanese good food! Yes that's Kimono Ken for me.It's a lunch meeting with our client and definitely all sorts of food were ordered (though didn't get to capture all in my photos). This is a go to Japanese place if you want variety and you want to be sure it's good plus good price.Starting off with salad we had crispy shake salad greens with Japanese mayo and crispy salmon on top that change the game. For the fresh we had shake (salmon) uni (sea urchin) and tuna all look so fresh and yet did not tried it since I'm not a fanThe maki like Ebi and California maki all tastes sweet fresh and savory a real taste explosionTheir tempura are good not too salty well fried not oily and perfect with their tempura sauce that seals the flavorThe beef and seafood tepan are tender and juicy well paired with the stir fry veggiesLastly the katsudon tasty fried rice top with crispy pork and egg the fried rice itself is already a hit!Good resto for big groups! Even intimate casual dining also right price.

Japanese tonight and it was similar to a trip to the land of the rising sun. Kimono Ken did a superb job on making me feel the flavors of Japanese in three of their dishes. Sukiyaki at Php 350 was just excellent. It has been awhile since I had it and am reminded how special this concoction is. It started with their sweet savory soup base. I slurped it endlessly and poured it on my gohan. The noodles were thin yet firm and slippery. Its beef strips were tender, lean and really tasty. Since Chicken Teriyaki is one of my go to picks, I just had to indulge on their version. Flavor is deep on its meat. The chicken skin adds a nice touch of texture and a kick of saltier seasoning. Bacon with Asparagus is one combination to have the fatty pork with less guilt. The contrast was interesting as its taste are far from each other. Not to mention the disparity of how healthy each one is.
