Jonas is more of a lifestyle than a restaurant. You come here for its contribution to the history of pares (beef and soup), and its socially conscious business model. When you eat here it's like you're communing with the collective and you get a lot of feel good points for contributing to a better society. That aside, the food - well, not the best and cheapest pares around, nowadays. Still, the portions are huge, and they do have other viands, such as fish filet, that I think are better value for taste. The mami bowl is humongous and finishing it will make you feel the broth up to your gills.

Pares is relatively good. Prices are reasonable. Portioning is also commendable. Tip: when you order their pares, tell them you that you don't like ligaments and fats in your beef!Comfort food when you're really tight in budget!

Their pares is probably more on the expensive side, but I was still able to enjoy it here. Though the sauce is not thick as I would have hoped, the taste is not that bad.

Delicious food most especially the paksiw na lechon pork and beef pares. Today I ate pork paksiw, siomai and spring roll. Great taste but spring roll tasted like it has been spoiled for a day or two. But overall pasok sa panlasang pinoy!

Jonas is one of my favorite comfort-food places at Forum Robinsons. It serves the Pinoy classic food tandem: the pares, level-up version. My usual order is the noodle combo consisting of chicken mami, asado siopao and a glass of soft drink. The fried rice also goes well with the restaurant's variety of viands such as dinuguan, sweet and sour fish, tokwa't baboy, kikiam, and of course, pares. The pork and mushroom lumpia goes well with the mami, too. Prices are reasonable; in fact, the mami and fried rice serve 2.

For heavy merienda I would always recommend their pares (beef and fried rice). It was the only food place in Robinsons Forum that we always used to dine into almost everytime we visit. I also like their siomai, siopao and spring rolls.

Started as a humble pares place with 6 chairs, now been here for many years. Everytime am in Forum mall, I think of eating here. Yes they have delicious Pares. It's flavorful and pairing with their fried rice and soup makes it a good match. We also had value for money mixed vegetables, Lechon paksiw made light and packed Siomai. Don't you appreciate having this kind of place in a mall. Simple meal, simple pleasures. We were 5 and our bill was Php 550 only.

I would have given a 4 if it weren't for the piece of plastic in my rice. At first I thought it was just garlic peal. But when I spat and studied it, it looked like the plastic seal of soy sauce. I didn't bother to tell the service crew as I was really hungry and would just want to finish eating and run errands. Anyway, for the food. I love the beef pares here. Make sure you get chili! It always hit the spot for me. For some reason, whenever I eat at Jonas, I eat fast. It's not a fancy restaurant. This one looks like a leveled up carinderia.

I ordered jonas original beef pares yesterday .and they give me extra "extra cold beef pares with extra cold rice malamig .hot food should be serve hot in a warm plate and specially soup malamig din take note its too early to receive a cold food 11:30am mafefeel ng customer n kumain sya ng left over kapag malamig ang food mas mainit pa yung mga pares na street food.Hindi ko tuloy na appreciate yung kinain ko. Masarap siguro kung mainit..sobrang curious pa naman ako sa lasa ng pares nyo.
