Japanese authenticity plus Filipino service at its finest. Despite the staff are busy, they are able to serve and refill on time. The food is really great. Yes it is on the expensive side for me but it was worth it. I just tried the thick noodles and it was really good plus the tantanmen soup is really savory.

Had dinner here. The food, service, cleanliness is all good. Had the mushroom with tofu which was excellent. The only problem I have with this chain is the MSG is already included in the broth that comes form Japan, so if you dont like MSG in your food you are out of luck. Otherwise all is very good.

Ever since it opened here in the Philippines, Ippudo’s popularity have not died down. It’s still in the list of top ramen places in the city. Their Megamall branch is really huge can probably accommodate up to 80 people. They have tables for big group and a bar section that has the perfect view of the chefs as they prepare the food. We tried their Shiromaru Motoaji, their original tonkatsu ramen and the Karakamen, Ippudo’s spicy tonkatsu ramen. The shiromaru has creamy broth, thin al dente noodles, two slices of soft and tender pork belly then topped with kikurage and spring onions. It has that light milky taste. As for the karakamen, just by looking at my bowl, I can already sense the spiciness of the broth. It has the same base and toppings but they infused spicy miso and garlic oil. It was flavorful and has that rich, hot meaty taste. Just the way I like it. The service was also good, the crews were accommodating and attentive. I am a big fan of Japanese cuisine and am particularly fond of Ramen. Upon seeing the world famous franchise Ipudo here in Manila, I was eager to try the food. I enjoyed the ramen as it was very savory and delicious. The buns were a nice addition to the experience. I recommend you try this.

I ordered the aburi shrimp tartar roll as appetizer. The combined ingredients plus the sear made on the roll give it a smokey, well-balanced, delicate flavor. However, I wasn't able to taste the shrimp in the dish.As for the main course, I chose the karaka ramen since I love spicy food. The serving is big, just like in other ramen restaurants. The taste is also similar, but Ippudo's has a milder taste in its broth. I love the cook on the noodles, pork and egg. As for the dessert, I like how the custard part of the matcha creme brulee is light without being watery. I didn't get to taste the matcha flavor both in the custard nor on the dusting on the vanilla ice cream though. Health and safety: Ippudo is implementing proper infection conrol protocols to ensure the health and safety of its staff and customers.❤

I thought it would be a bit expensive but it was actually good value for money. I was already full before I expected to be. Staff were very nice and accomodating. Thay even brought water refills without us asking. I definitely see why this Ippudo branch has such high ratings.
