Owned by Harry Morris of the Philippine Volcanoes, Fuego Amigo offers Latin and South american dishes. Their piri-piri chicken (alternatively spelled "peri-peri" was juicy and was paired with a sauce that has a subtle taste. The chicken wings have a sweet and a little kick of spice at the same time. People who loved eating Latin and Portuguese food will surely be a fan of this stall. Will definitely go back to try out their other grilled and fried food

Grilled peri-peri chicken and porkchop! The grilled smell/flavor is appetizing and the South American spices truly flavorful. Fuego Amigo is located outside the main area of the pioneer street market, just on the right of the main entrance (when coming from Reliance Street) and near the bathrooms. They have their own store-like structure unlike the restaurants in the main area that utilize stalls only. for the full story on pioneer street market and the recent event. please visit my blog.

Another food stall that got my attention, which can be found inside Pioneer Street Market, in Buayang Bato, Mandaluyong, is Fuego Amigo. I am happy with this new discovery as I get to be introduced more with Latin American dishes that are particularly influenced by Portuguese cooking. If you have been reading my food reviews for some time now, you would know that I am actually very much fond of chicken compared to other types of meat. I am just so pleased to know that Fuego Amigo brings in a new dish here in the Philippines, which is the peri-peri chicken. The flavors in it are very subtle, but it sure tastes better with their sauce.I especially like their take on their chicken wings. Expect a good kick from the spiciness of this dish.Hopefully, I get to visit Pioneer Street Market once again so I can try out Fuego Amigos' pork chops. I am so looking forward to that.
