I'm rating their espresso, which I got for free for buying a bag of beans :) it's by far the strongest that I have had. The way I like it. I also ordered their version of shakshuka- chorizo, egg in tomato. Comforting. Too bad they were out of corned beef hash, will be back to try that. Kudos to your coffee grinder guy! He shared his recommendation that the beans I bought is better as drip versus french press. Appreciate it! =)Tried their Spanish Coffee last weekend, sooo good! Sweet and creamy but still strong

I only got to try their Monte Cristo. For Php 170, the grilled cheese and tomato soup combo's a good deal! It's perfect for rainy days. I even had leftover soup which I used for pizza (bought from another stall). If you're craving for grilled cheese, try it here! They serve it cheaper than other restos.

The Spanish Latte was soo gooood. I was pretty surprised at its richness and full flavor. I don't think I've had anything like it before (and that's contrasting with a lot of other coffee, being a graduate student)! The Seoul Bowl was good in itself - as in, tender meat and egg nicely prepared. The Kimchi flavor could have been more prominent, though! All in all, it was a great lunch date at the Pioneer Market!:)

Pioneer St Market is one of the newest Food Hall in Mandaluyong City. The Food Hall support our local farmers and small businesses to market their products. One of the participating restaurants in Pioneer St Market is called Current Swell Coffee and Brewery. Serving beautiful and delicious comfort food. We had Seoul Bowl, it’s a pork belly with kimchi rice and Matcha Pancakes. Of course they have coffee too.One thing I like with Current Swell Coffee and Brewery is the plating of their dishes. Really looks nice and appetizing. #ilovetoeatph 😃❤️

You should definitely try the Spanish Poached Eggs here at Current Swell Coffee Brewery and pair it with a Cappuccino or Americano. I love both! The Spanish poached eggs is a beautiful combination of beautifully poached eggs and tomato sauce with a bit of heat to keep things interesting. The espresso roast they use is tailored to the Filipino palate so its a bitchocolatey and nutty. Current Swell is one of the top notch coffee roasters in Metro Manila, showcasing a wide variety of local and international single origin beans. Here are my personal favorites:1. A bit disappointed with the latte I ordered. It seemed like the guy behind the espresso machine just half-assed my cup. I got no latte art, and my friend who had some barista training noticed that the guy didn't use a tamper and that makes the water escape much faster, diminishing the quality of the espresso. He said the latte tasted sub-par, was too bitter and acidic. And I thought so too. So please, Current Swell, make sure your staff cares about what they're doing. Thank you.

Coffee Swell is not just a coffee and brewery place but an awesome BRUNCH place.Manila still has to discover the magic of brunch and Current Swell is providing diners a reason to embrace this fun meal time.Brunch is usually associated with egg dishes. And so why not try Shakshouka! Even though it sound nasty, Shakshouka loosely means "all mixed up" in Arabic, this North African dish is making waves as an up and coming popular healthy brunch item. The whole egg is poached in a spicy tomato sauce, served with flat bread to mop up this delectable entree.Or how about the Seoul Bowl. A big bowl of kimchi rice topped with braised pork (think pata tim), poached egg and pickled cucumber. A dish that would surely cure any hang over.

This food hub showcases a grocery and more than ten food stalls that I'm pretty sure would appeal to all food lovers.One good reason to go here at Pioneer Street Market is for you to check out Current Swell Coffee Brewery. Here, they use locally-roasted beans, as well as those they have sourced out internationally. If you wanted to try out third wave coffee, then this is the perfect spot for you to go to. Aside from their coffee, they also serve brunch meals and a variety of pastries as well.The first dish that we had here is their Shakshouka. It is a Middle Eastern dish, with poached eggs, tomato sauce, and cheese. This is, for me, a great appetizer. Try this one out and be sure to dip your bread in it.Another dish by Current Swell Coffee Brewery that amazed me is their Seoul Bowl. This flavorful bowl of spicy Kimchi rice has this well-seasoned braised pork and pickled cucumber in it. I recommend for everyone to try this out as Current Swell's Seoul Bowl is a must have!

Current Swell Coffee Brewery offers international and local specialty grade coffee (wasn't able to take a picture of the coffee). They also served brunch food like Seoul Bowl which is an Korean inspired kimchi rice meal toppings.Seoul Bowl - fusion of authentic with a modern twist of taste. One of the best kimchi rice meal I have ever tasted. Will definitely go back and tag my coffee lover friends to let them try out the coffee.
