Today, my friend and I crave for some sweets. Both of us have a sweet tooth so we decided to try Cupcakes by Sonja at SM Mega Fashion Hall. They both have a kiosk and a physical store where you can sit and try their cakes.What I like?1. CakeThe cake itself is really good. Their chocolate cake is very moist and it has a rich chocolaty icing. I personally tried it so as their lemon berry. The chiffon is perfect and I really like the flavor and mixture of lemon and blueberry icing in between.2. StaffThe staff is really nice and he is very accommodating.What I do not like?1. PriceThe price is not just right for the slice of the cake. Though I do love the flavor but I think it should be cheaper by 20%.2. PlaceHonestly, I find the place really messy. The floor is not even clean. I do not really understand the concept of the store. The chairs and tables do not really complement each other.

This is our first time to visit this one, a kiosk hiding below the escalator with a few tables for dine ins. The chocolate cake is superb! Close enough to Ms. Polly’s, actually. Rainbow cake is a meh. It just looks good. That’s it! 😅 Also, we don’t think we’ll be coming back here ‘coz of their customer service. It was around 8:15 (still so far from their closing time) and someone’s already cleaning the floor using clorox. Of course, resulting us leaving already as the smell starts bothering. 😭 We understand the staffs might have wanted to prepare for closing already but this one’s just unacceptable.Value for money: Worth it for the promo. Will try their other branch should there be a next time.
