Strategically located for people watching, just across Tim Ho Wan and Victoria Secret. We went to Chez Karine to have coffee and try out their macarons. I must say I was not disappointed. Although the place was abit small, it was not crowded when we came in. We seated ourselves at the corner nook  which was comfy enough for our group. I know how to bake artisan breads, cake and cookies , but have not tried making macarons. So when I discovered Chez Karine,  it's a sweet splurging and a wonderful weekend treat for a sweet tooth like me. Best to come in prepared when you taste a macaron. You will surely order another.. and another.. and even buy a box of 8's to go.  With Caramel Fleur de Sel, the macarons are delightfully website-heaven.  I have a "3 bite-rule" for these macarons. 1st bite - should taste flavorful , 2nd bite - should melt in your mouth, and 3rd bite - should be consistent and delicious as bite #1 & #2. We ordered salted caramel , pistachio, dark choco , lemon,  strawberry, coffee, peanut butter , cookies and cream, gingerbread cream cheese, passionfruit, red velvet and vanilla. Each has their distinct flavor, but all airy and light. You have to go and try it. I look forward to see and taste more macaron flavors in the future.

I tried their Mango Panna Cotta, Blueberry Cream Cheese Pudding and Muscovado Pudding. One of their bestseller is the Muscovado Pudding - this is my favorite also among the three. It is not too sweet and I love the smooth texture of the pudding.

I've never tried macaroons before. I only saw those in magazines or in malls but never tried it. Then I heard on TV and saw in magazine about Chez Karine and its macaroon. That's why I tried it when I went to Megamall.I ordered 4 macaroons (Red Velvet, Salted Caramel, Peanut Butter & Dark Chocolate) and a Mango Pudding. It's quite expensive but it's worth it. I love it to bits. It's super delicious and flavorful. I never regret that I tried it. It's really worth the price. Addictive.

I think their macarons are too sweet. But they have nice flavors. I love their hot/cold drinks selection. I ordered their flourless cake (the cake I always order at almost every menu I see it) and it was okay

Awesome find you are looking for some out-of-ordinary desserts. They concentrate french desserts an asian twist. Must try!
