This a a very nice find. A few peso's more than the usual tapsilugan but it is a few peso's better. The rice is hot and perfectly cooked and the food is nicely cooked and really clean. No dirty grease here. The drinks are cold too..The tables are kept wiped and maintained and also they have a clean toilet.The crowd here is of all sorts of people. Bar goers, shift workers and every other type. A nice atmosphere and a reasonable price .Highly recommended.

Simple, fast and affordable. You get what you pay for so don't expect really nice ambience or an extremely clean place. Sizzling T-bone for P100, tapsilog for P65... enough reason to patronize the place. Service is fast and servers attentive.

Must try there t bone at 100 bucks a pop its worth it. Dont forget the gravy it compliments the T bone. This place recently received a make over renovation. Much more room and tables.

Your typical tapsilog place with chili oil as one of their staple condiments. The place is not airconditioned but the windows are designed to provide enough ventilation for you to eat your meal. They are also open for 24 hours so if you crave for midnight meals and you happen to be near the area this is one of the places to go to. If you want the ultimate experience go for their T-bone steak.

Affordable, simple and fast. Quick fix for those "silog" kind of cravings. Place ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not air-conditioned but with good enough ventilation with an open concept. Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Crew is attentive and food gets to be served under 10 minutes. Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ With the price ranging from P35 to P130 and full at that, value for money is there.

I have been residing in Mandaluyong for years and I have never been to Chekwa not until last night. The place is clean, well-ventilated (it has air ceiling fans and an outdoor chain concept). The coziness and warmth of their place is what I liked the most. This isn't your typical tapsilog place because they really cater good food and service. The price of their food is 5-peso higher than other places but is reasonable! We ordered Tapsilog and really liked it. I can't wait to try their T-bone steak. I highly recommend this place.

PLACE - 3/5 ⭐️ They do not have an air-con since the style of the place is like a veranda. So, going there for lunch is a big no no.FOOD - 4/5 ⭐️ It’s very affordable! The gravy tastes really good! However, the steak is too greasy. Their blue burst iced tea is also a must try!SERVICE - 5/5 ⭐️ They are very accommodating. No need to tell them what you need, they’ll deliberately refill your water. Lol.

I ate kanina and to my surprise in less than 2 minutes na served na agad yung sizzling t bone na order ko, so I was happy since usually mga nasa 5 mins inaantay ko bago ma serve yung usual order ko ( which is the sizzling t bone ). Pero yung meat matigas talaga na dry pa, parang pre cooked na tapos ininit na lang. Sumakit yung jaws ko kaka nguya, nakain ko yung kalahati kasi super gutom lang ako. Cristina Marie So

If you are after affordable grub, make this one of your go-to places. Reconsider if it bothers you that the guy bussing tables is the same guy serving your food, and he doesnt wash his hands in between.
