I was craving for crepes and I remembered the galette with Hungarian sausage and cheese sauce I ordered here before, which I really loved, so we decided to eat at Cafe Breton. Podium branch is already open at 7 am so it's perfect for breakfast.Instead of the galette, I decided to try their savory crepe with Veal Sausage, Bechamel Sauce and Mushrooms. I didn't like it as much. I don't like button mushrooms and their Bechamel Sauce so maybe it's just wrong choice for me. Their breakfast plate was also just okay. But the food wasn't expensive so I think it's good enough.I would come back to try their other savory galettes and for their dessert crepes, of course!

So disappointing cafe Breton. My son is a picky eater. So imagine our delight and our very frequent visits to Cafe Breton podium when he started to show an inclination for crepe. Although super plain, we were indulgent. So once to thrice a week, we get his super plain crepe - not even a touch of whipped cream nor a shadow of fruit- Just. Plain. Crepe. As a mom regulating his sugar, I don't order butter and sugar. We end up ordering a minimum of 2 plain crepes for Php65 bucks each. But I usually give in to his plea by adding a sprinkle of white sugar. Truly, it is value-for-money at 65 bucks, UNTIL TONIGHT when I was told by waiter John Mendoza that I must pay Php108 for that sprinkle of sugar because supervisor Miss Leslie said so. It's just painful to think that a sprinkle of sugar would cost a whooping php43 pesos!!! SERIOUSLY? 43 PESOS FOR mSUGAR? I was so sad but we paid it, requesting that perhaps they just jack up the price of the plain one for Php100 instead of 65? Or hoping that they would just be GENEROUS enough to SHARE a pinch of sugar which they say was exclusive for drinks since (1) I take my latte without sugar anyway everytime I order and (2) I go there with him and my husband often, they just lost a loyal consumer :( Now our search begins as to where to find other alternative crepe places around pasig, mandaluyong or Greenhills area... Any suggestions?

It's been years since I was able to be back at Cafe Breton. It was late night when we decided to find a place to chill, and it was a good choice that we stayed here. The place was obviously cozy, plenty of seats even outside the cafe. The inside area wasn't that spacious, but definitely they can accommodate number of guests. This cafe wasn't just all about crepes, but they offer a lot from desserts to main courses, from milkshakes and liquors. We got a chocolate milkshake, banana fruit shake, green tea, and a Peanut butter and grape jelly crepe. It was all delicious. I've already tried their pasta and crepes before, but to taste it again was great. It reminded me the reason why this cafe is the top choice for crepes! The prices were also okay for the quality of food. 😍 definitely be back soon.

One of the few places to get a great dessert near the office! Got the mango and nutella based crepes and both are sinfully yummy. The mango based crepe is topped with a mango ice cream complementing the hot mango fruit stuffing inside the crepe. The nutella based on the other hand has a banana filling with additional drizzle of nutella and almond silvers.Personally, I am partial with the mango crepe because it reminds me of summer.

The ultimate tita brunch place!! Ordered their Sausage Platter with Toast which includes two kinds of sausage, hashbrown, toast and 2 eggs. When my order came, I immediately knew I couldn't finish it. It was a very tita meal knowing that the only "sinful" bit of dish is the hashbrown. Overall, the dish was good! The sausages were cooked well but I had to eat one type at a time cos it confuses my taste palette. The hashbrown was okay despite the oiliness.---After yoga, I wanted to eat something light so I went for crepes. I got my favorite - Crepes with Lemon and Sugar. I have always liked eating crepes with sugar. The lemon gives it a little kick to balance out the sweetness.

Im not going to talk much about the place. Ambience wise it's more down to earth than Starbucks or CBTL. The place is clean, the music is relaxing, the seats won't make you want to sink into them and fall asleep, but the food is really good, plus they're very reasonably priced - very reasonably priced that you wouldn't have to think about ruining your budget by ordering dessert or additional sides. We were a big group so I got to sample quite some items on the menu. I loved the Go Fish and the Cheesy Chix with Asparagus most. Go Fish is somewhat like eggs Royale - open-faced smoked salmon and fluffy scrambled eggs sandwich, served with a side of vegetable salad. Absolutely divine! Cheesy Chix is a savoury crepe stuffed with chicken breast slices and asparagus smothered in cheese. Yummy! The Chorizo Burger with Egg was quite nice too. I didn't like the Galette Marrakech so much. I chose the Marrakech to try something different - crepe made of buckwheat flour served with a Moroccan spicy beef sausage. I expected the sausage to be a lot spicier, bigger and juicier. It's texture is more like Vigan Longganisa. Their cold coffee options look very tempting, but since I wasn't planning on staying up long after and tempting as they may seem, it was the picture of the Apple Crumble that won me over, I just had service water to leave room for dessert. Super glad I did. By the way their Apple Crumble is filed under Ice Cream in the menu. This is not your usual pie. It is served in a sundae glass with crushed grahams for a base, a scoop of ice cream, apples and a cream topping. Really good! I heard the Peaches and Cream was too.So obviously I enjoyed. And if not for the lack of attention - my glass of water was almost always wanting a refill - and the not so great Galette Marrakech, I'd have considered a 4.5, or a 5.

Just back from Café Breton and I'm furious ! Angry not because of the crêpes but red of anger because of the staff. Does Filipino have some sense of humor ? Been eating 2 or 3 times a week at Café Breton The Podium and been well greeted every time but today....We finished eating while we asked the bill.....I precise that we were the only 2 customers in the restaurant. After a few minutes waiting the bill of 2 crepes only I've approached the cashier and "nicely" on a "joke" manner I'm asking if the system is slow today (a bill for 2 crepes should be quite fast no ?).The lady at the cashier absolutely ignored me and continue to talk in tagalog to her male & female colleagues while I looked so stupid "like talking to myself"....I repeated my "joke" right in front of the cashier lady but still ignoring my words and completely look somewhere else....I suddenly felt really bad and was wondering if I said something wrong ! Which I don't think I said.....My partner and I were so surprised that we said we might not come back anymore....Which make me feel sad as I'm french from Brittany.I was so upset that I almost wanted to slap her face as I obviously saw that she purposely ignored my words.I will try to contact the management of the Cafe Breton The Podium and have some words of explanation.I really feel bad.

Situated outside the Podium Mall, right next to Starbucks sits this cafe specializing on crepes. Cafe Breton has always been a favorite of mine whether it's the savory Galette Breton or the dessert crepes. On my last visit we had the Blueberry and Cream Cheese Crepe and Deja Vu. Both ala mode. Price points are around Php 240 per order. We also tried the Peach Melba Parfait and the Hot chocolate.

Met up with my high school besties for dinner and then some. We weren't too happy about dinner and the service so we decided to have dessert elsewhere. One of my friends kept on mentioning her fave La Pinay from Cafe Breton so we gave in to her craving.I'm not really fond of crepes but I went for the A La Nutella. It was the only sweet option that did not have fruits. And besides who doesn't love Nutella. My crepe turned out thick and chewy and the Nutella was spread on top. It did not tickle my tastebuds. My friend who was the Cafe Breton regular said that the crepes aren't usually that chewy. They had a La Pinay And a Strawberry Cobbler. I didn't bother asking for bites since I don't like Strawberry ice cream and I'm not a fruit person. The first floor is a bit tight and we could hear the conversations from neighboring tables. The second floor is more spacious and pretty. There are restrooms upstairs as well.I guess crepes just aren't my thing and I should get something else when my friends insist on fulfilling their cravings.
