C2 was one of our family's go-to restaurants when we go to Shang and we always order their bestsellers. This time around I tried their boodle fight sets for Vday. When it comes to Boodle fights I have already sold my soul to Aracama, however, these three sets from C2 is a close second favorite. And to think this is waaaay cheaper than Aracama's! C2 has a Valentine Boodle Promo available until March 31, so yey! Here are the sets: did not include all  ulams)Set A (P1,200),good for 3: Lamang Dagat Platter, Buro and Green Mango Salad, Stuffed Squid, Grilled Bangus Belly, Hilabos na Hipon, Pinasingaw na Tahong and a Carafe of Iced Tea.Set B (P1,600),good for 4-6 people , Crispy Tokwa't Baboy, Lumpiang Hubad, Binusog na Bangus, Crispy Kare-Kare, Tinolang Binakol and Fiesta Rice, topped with Leche Flan and a Carafe of Iced Tea.Set C (P1,800) good for 4-8 people, includes barbeque, grilled chicken, adobo, bagoong rice and Green Mango Salad. I like everything in set A except for the squid because they stuffed ginger inside it. I'm not very particular of its taste so it completely threw me off. (Sayang kasi ag daming squid sa platter na 'to) Everything else is a win. They're fresh, perfectly seasoned and great for that "kamayan" feel. Set B was pretty good too but I wish it had more variety with the taste. Set C however was "okay" but the barbeque doesn't taste that good. I also got to try their buko pandan dessert, pretty good! Best dessert to wash down the salty taste of everything in the platter. Overall "normal"-tasting food, but the idea if a boddle fight is a good gimmik you can try.

On the Table: Sinigang na Suahe and Sisig. My Food-O-Meter:Taste: 3.5/5Service: 4/5Price: 3/5Sinigang tasted great but not impressed with their sisig. A bit pricey too. Way too hot, felt like the airconditioning was off!

Oh my! I wasn't expecting this bad experience from C2.. I don't usually post bad comments but the experience is just sad.. We wanted something filipino that day, so we ordered dinuguan that I can't describe the taste, the rice and red egg though is good., the vegetable that we ordered is bland then lastly the sago't gulaman drink that taste like a cough syrup with gelo.. I wasn't happy at all, and the fact that i'm super hungry that day doesn't count. I didn't get to eat and drink what we ordered. It was that bad that we just pay and left it almost untouched. It's a waste of money.

A different take on Filipino food. Loved their Crispy Kare-Kare and Sotanghon.A bit pricey however, service was excellent and food was really delicious. Filipino cuisine, leveled up and with a twist. Will definitely come back to try their other dishes. Some of my other faves are:Bibingka SouffleFried Tilapia in Coconut Sauce
