These days, I rarely go to Manila. My must try list has been begging me to temporarily step out of the diet train to cross out the restaurants I saved gazillion years a go. When my mom asked me to drive her to the airport today, I took it as a sign to bring out the website freak I placed in my diet box. I informed Reich T of my plan and she willingly agreed. Together with other fellow websites, we'll scout Kapitolyo's hidden gems and savor all the goodness we could find.The plan was to start at lunch. I left the airport at 6am and decided to meet Reich in Greenfield District. We met at Gourmet Brown's Chicken. It's a loft type of space with minimalist design. Black was the color theme and touches of wood interiors on the walls. Still full from Kanto Freestyle Breakfast, I urged Reich to share a meal. We ordered Brown's roasted chicken. It came with buttered corn and vegetables. The chicken was well roasted and cooked to my liking. Same with the veggies. The highlight of our meal goes to their Basil and Ginger Shake. It's so refreshing and we felt hydrated and energized. Odd flavors to my tastebuds but I throughly enjoyed it. Surprisingly. As per Reich, lasang halaman na masarap!😂The comfort room is clean, crew was quick and good selection of indie music. Wifi was fast at 2 mbps and there are wall outlets ready for your gadgets to be plugged in. I will surely return to Brown's Gourmet Chicken if I have the chance!

Ive always been a fan of quiet restaurants as it gives me the opportunity to backtrack the things i have done for the day. Brown gourmet restaurant indeed satisfied me with its homey interiors and well ventialted setting. I ordered their set meal which was a sure hit for me because of its value, pricewise and its nutriotional aspects. Their meal came with a salad, quater chicken, and a pasta. Talk about a well balanced meal.I chose their lemon basil caramelized pear salad. To my surprise, it was so refreshingly good. The lettuce were fresh and crispy. The dressing was superb with its sweet, sour and tangy flavors. The sunflower seeds added a unique twist to the dish.For the chicken, i think its oven roasted. It was so tender and juicy at the same time. It has a unique blend of spices underneath the skin and it all worked out well. The uniqueness of this dish is that the dipping sauce is vinegar! Definitely a must try!The pasta was just simple. I opted their roasted tomato pasta, nothing out of the ordinary but a good combination as compared to rice.It was a great dining experience indeed!Bon appetite!

Food is super uber great and delicious. It was my first time in Greenfield and I was not disappointed because of Brown's. Service was quick and the staff we're very accommodating. Keep it up! 👍
