During the recent Rendezvoos, we got into a chitchat about Brasas. They were raving about it! Even upon checking of the looloo news feed, you'll also see a lot of good reviews about it. It was the 9th of May and hubby was up to eat anywhere I would want to. Kahit mag field trip pa kami. As soon as I heard that, I took the opportunity to go to Podium! Brasas + Cupcake Lab = perfect website treat!

Typical Latin American street food. Their various meat-over-rice dishes are generally good. My favorite dish would be the lomo saltado. This is Latin American food at its best within the city.

Bim and I went to here yesterday. We ordered the Carne Asada Platter, Puerco Asado Platter, Pollo a la Brasas wrap, Nachos con carne, and Papas con Salsa de Queso. The pilaf rice of the platters was SO YUMMY! I ended up ordering an extra helping. The beef strips, pork belly, and chicken strips were very flavorful and tender. And I actually tasted the grilled flavor. The potato side dish was covered in cheese and toppings which I think tasted like chicharon bituka. The nachos were nice but the cheese and beef toppings were cold. I didnt see any menu for desserts though, so that was a little sad. Overall, it was a nice dining experience. Recommended.

Been here twice and I will come back for more South American cuisine! Though the store is quite small but the ambiance gives me a native feeling. We ordered Pollo Asado Platter, Carne Asada Platter, Burrito Carne Asada and Nachos Con Carne. Everything was done perfectly 👌. Updated Feb 2017... From 5 to 3.5... We had an early lunch I ordered Pollo Asado since its one of my favorites and I notice the chicken is a lil bit dry. Its actually dry. Like its a left over from yesterday and they just reheated it. That kind of dry. I was trying to fool myself that its really how It should be cooked but dang! Its really like from yesterday. Sorry Brasas I just lost my confidence with what you serve.

Huge fan of this place. The food is full of flavor, the portion sizes are generous and the staff very attentive. I try and get down every couple of weeks. The salads are great value for money especially and I'm working my way through the sandwich options and sides.

Strong and fierce that's how I will describe this Cuban cuisine! Loved their beef all burnt and tosses into strong spices of pepper and with a hint of cilantro in their salsa ( I ordered CARNE ASADA) But it's not a food you would crave for weekly because as mentioned the taste is strong.

My favorite Latin American street food place in the Philippines! Their branch in podium is small (I hope they'd expand!) but certainly big on flavor! Fireworks in my mouth, this place got me with their meat cooked over red hot charcoal. I always go for their carne asada (beef sirloin). Try their puerco asada too. If you love fries, you'd go gaga over their carne asada fries topped with special chili made with smoked chorizo, chopped beef sirloin, grated jack cheese, tomato salsa and sour cream - (Generous serving of meat and cheese).. Their beef wrap is really good too, with a hefty serving of beef, dripping in sauce. (Chipotle is my fave!) Yum!Check them out - They're located at 5th floor, The Podium, ADB Ave 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

2nd time around and they're still as tasty and interesting as the 1st time! The music and ambience just puts you in the mood to dine and chill after running so many holiday errands... sigh*Asado Pollo got me mmmm~ing from the 1st bite. Sauce in addition is a plus and gives it a fresh twist.Roast Pork Belly Burrito is packed with flavor especially on the rice. Garlic mayo plays up the senses a notch higher. Cheesy Beef Fries is a must!!!

Excellent food! I love it a lot. The first time I tried here I always wanted to go back. They changed their menu. But their serving is enough for you not to ask for merienda. I tried the quarter chicken and seriously the chicken is sooo good, sooo tender and their rice! sooo heavenly. It's soft, fluffy and delicious.

I have had my first and unique taste of Latin food when I was in the US. The memory still lingers in my tongue. Sometimes I even dream of it. Sometimes I yearn for it. I tried the flimsy attempts here. And it was nothing but a disappointment. An expensive disappointment. One day, I was looking for a brand new pair of sneakers when hunger stabbed. I have tried pretty much every single restaurant in Podium except for one. The place is called Brasas: Latin American Streetfood. It sounded inviting. I was really starving that day. You know, the third world kind of starvation. I immediately ordered 2. The A La Brasa and Puerco Asado. When the dishes were served, even before reaching the table, I was already consumed by its powerful fragrance. My stomach was no longer tied into knots. It was clamoring for the great devour. I started with the Puerco Asado. The puerco asado was excellent. The pork was tender but with crunchy bites, mixed in the style of a good barbecue sandwich. he pork takes beautifully to the flavors; care is taken in preparation to see that each plate gets a few of the very tasty bits from the bottom of the pan. I just wished the serving could have been more. Nevertheless, it was marvelous. The A La Brasa was equally fantastic. Every piece, every bite was festive. The flavors were dancing on my tongue and I couldn't help but sway to the delicious beat of this Latin flavor. Both dishes surprised me. I was just there to stave off the hunger. Instead, I got more than that. It was the closest thing I had to my craving for Latin dish. And I finished my meal with a smile on my face stretched from ear to ear and uttered Gracias Brasas upon leaving.
