This is a very cool place for drinking sessions. They don't just have a wide range of liquors but food too. I haven't expected that the price is affordable enough considering it's located in Podium. They offer buy one take one for local beers and cocktails from 6 pm to 8 pm. I was just a little disappointed with the chocolate chicken wings. I was looking for the sweet taste of chocolate which I have expected. Maybe I have set a wrong expectation. They serve generous servings of finger foods for "pulutan" like potato fries and potato chips. Thumbs up for that! This is a place where I'll definitely come back and I'm planning to try their imported beers next time.

I read so many good reviews about Borough. While running an errand, I parked my car in Podium even if it means I have to walk a couple of blocks to get my documents. The place was deserted and I immediately ordered some grilled cheese and onion rings. Service was pretty good. The server was smiling and very friendly. The serving was pretty big for one person and I was in a hurry so I just ate half of the grilled cheese and 1/3 of the onion rings. If I had the time, I would gladly stay and finish my food. The grilled cheese was made with their home made bread, plus points for that. Though the bread was nothing special, it was good and the cheese more than makes up for it. Their grilled cheese is one of the best in the Metro. I guess I just prefer thinner bread and with more butter. Yeah, less carbs but more fattening with the butter. I am weird like that. As for the onion rings, they cooked it haystack style. One of my favourite ways of eating onion rings. It was very crispy (even after I reheated it) and very flavourful. I would definitely order this again when I go back to Borough.

They're open 24 hours, 7 days a week! It's the perfect place for your late night tambays! ;)Whenever I find myself in Podium, I always go to Borough and order their Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup. I just don't see why I should try anything else when I have so much love for this one dish. :PFries in a Basket (P150)I tend not to order fries in restaurants since they're often just store-bought, but I love the special Odessa sauce the Fries in a Basket came with! I have no clue as to what's in it (they won't tell us!), so you'll have to order it to know what I'm talking about! We also got to try two of their chicken wing offerings - Buffalo and Chocolate!Buffalo Chicken Wings (P360)Chocolate Chicken Wings (P280)The Buffalo Wings is your classic spicy wings served with blue cheese, while the Chocolate Wings is coated in cocoa and cinnamon then served with cilantro sour cream. If I were to pick a favorite, I would have to go with the buffalo just because I'm in love with blue cheese dips!Popcorn Calamari (P290)My newest favorite bar chow! This popcorn-crusted fried squid is served with clarified chili butter and tossed with extra popcorn for good measure.

Borough for our anniversary brunch! Good thing it was not as packed as we thought. Hehe.Borough staple is their grilled cheese and tomato soup and their comforting milk and cookies!!! Also dried their Not so big bagel (basically the half of the big bagel) and it did not disappoint!

Last month, we had bloggers quiz night in Borough and we all really had fun. As a matter of fact, it was my first time to attend bloggers quiz. Quiz plus good food was awesome! Thank you Aldous and Borough for organizing this event.  Let’s start our Borough food adventure! We had Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup (P280), grilled cheese in homemade brioche bread. Just dip it to the tomato soup! This is a must try whenever you visit Borough.Buffalo Chicken Wings (P360), classic hot and spicy chicken wings originally from Buffalo New York. Served with blue cheese dip.Chocolate Chicken Wings (P280), this is perfect for the people who wants a chicken wings with a twist. Baked wings coated in cocoa and cinnamon. Served with cilantro sour cream.Popcorn Calamari (290), popcorn crusted fried squid tossed with extra popcorn for good measure. Served with clarified chilli butter. A must try!Hummus (130), blended chickpeas mixed with extra virgin olive oil and garnished with paprika. Served with homemade pita bread.Fries in a Basket (P150), a whole basket of fries and served with Borough’s special ‘Odessa Sauce’.Haystack Onion Rings (P180), piled high and served with barbecue sauce and sour cream onion dip. This is a bit salty for me so I preferred to dip in sour cream onion sauce.Mom’s Milk and Cookies (P220), chewy and freshly baked cookies (literally hot) in assorted flavors. Served with cold milk. The best!Hummingbird Cake, the Old-fashioned Layer Cake of the Day (P220), this is perfect for hot chocolate. It has banana, pineapple, green apple and mango. The cake was not the sweet and I liked it that way.Mudpie, the Borough’s Pie of the Day (P240), a sort chocolate overload pie. As in! This one compliments well with coffee since I find it too sweet.Borough

We went to this place after a very tiring day and it didn't fail me for it was truly a place with a friendly ambiance. The service was also great, and having very accommodating staffs is a big plus! The grilled cheese sandwich was our top food choice!

[Super duper late post as my appetite is not just back but has multiplied tenfold!]For some I-don’t-know-what-happened reason, I lost my appetite. And it was not just for a day or two but 3 weeks! This explains the fewer entries for the past months. But thanks to those green vitamins, the glutton is slowing coming back and craving for a lot of sweets! This entry though was about a lunch out that happened during my tummy’s-on-strike period. Then again, a glutton will always be a glutton.Hello, Borough. *blush* I have been eying this place since I read about it from several blog sites. One thing stood out, Mom’s Milk and Cookies (PHP170). The food gods must really love me as just when I was in one of the gloomiest weeks of my life, there was a sudden change in plans for a lunch meeting. Instead of dining at Lulu at Rockwell, it was moved to Borough, the place my tummy wanted to visit for months. *lucky!*

This is an awesome place. I love their pasta, burgers and salads (New York Style). For dessert, best to try their apple pie with ice cream. They got very nice staff.🍔🍝🍰
