Me and my family ate in Bonchon Shangril-La Plaza atthat time it is the only store who accepted us because the mall is alreadyclosing. We orders 2 box of boxed meal C that is composed of drumstick andthigh (in soy garlic flavor) rice box with drink I was planning to add Chapchaewhich I am really craving at that time however it is out of stock very sad :( then my husband upgradedhis rice to fried rice which is very good. At that time for father’s day promo youwill receive free 1pc chicken with rice for every 400 :) which we avail! :) also, it is my first timeto try their spicy mayo with fries it is the best even a good combination withthe chicken :)sarap!

The food is okay, but does not deserve their prices. We had upsized our fries to find that we would have been better off with the regular size instead of wasting our money. We had voiced our concern, only for the staff to smile and reiterate that yes, that indeed was the upsized amount of fries. After that, we found that our chicken was undercooked. After basically being ignored the first time, we couldn't be bothered to complain anymore, just decided to eat the rest of our food and avoid the undercooked chicken. The next day, my boyfriend developed a stomach ache so bad he had to stay in all day, which ruined our plans to go out of town with friends.I tried reaching out to Bon Chon via their Twitter and Facebook, and all I got was a template apology. I have not eaten at any of their branches since, and I don't think I ever will again.

We ordered takeout here once for our toddler and then brought it out to the food court so that we can eat together. Bon chon is the favorite of my toddler because of the very crispy skin of their fried chicken. Bon chon has multiple branches now and this branch has maintained the quality and fast service.

Somehow it seems that Bon Chon is one of my go to place for a quick bite of Korean food. The "chicken chops" is always my order. I like the all meat style and crisp of their chicken. This particular OKAY to me. If am on budget this is where I go,

Whenever we visit a new food establishment we make sure that we take note of the food, savor the taste and write a review here in our website.  In this article we will review the food at Chicken Bonchon Shangrila EDSA. We are a big fan of Korean food and the moment we see their korean bowl offerings prices only at Php155, we thought it is a good deal.  At that price their Chicken Bibimbowl and Beef Bibimbowl comes with soup and regular drinks.  Isn't that amazing already.

I'm a fan of BonChon and so I tried their Beef Curry Bibimbowl. It's curry-licious! The only thing I don't really like is the use of fried green peas, like the "junk food" you buy in supermarkets. It's crunchy, yes, but though to munch with the other ingredients, specially since you mix them all up.

Bon Chon's Original Bibimbowl is a current obsession of mine... It's the epitome of what a fast food meal should be-- served fast, delicious, and affordable. I get it as a meal, which comes with a side of soup and a drink. Their iced tea is pretty good, if you haven't tried it before. The Bibimbowl comes in original, spicy, and curry variants. I haven't tried the other two, since I always stick to the original... It already has a hint of spiciness just enough for spice rookies like me. It's not the traditional bibimbap, served in a stone bowl with almost burnt rice at the bottom. This is the fast food version- compenents served in a metal bowl with your choice of chicken or beef. Well-seasoned and hearty, great for a quick weekday lunch. Another new product worth a try is their kimchi fries. Kudos to their R&D department! A kimchi and crispy chicken skin mixture atop their fries with a bit of garnish. Hello, simple, innovative, sinful and yummy... Keep the chicken skin away from me please!!!😀 not suitable for everyday consumption!😁

Quick review - Whenever you want affordable budget type Korean Fast Food - you can never go wrong with Bon Chon! I liked their newest offering - Bibimbowl! Sulit talaga. They have Original Chicken, Beef Bulgogi, and now in Seafood! For only Php 99 (ala carte) you just have to mix, indulge and even share the Bibimbowl. Once mixed altogether, the serving is really good for two! (in my opinion) If you're not a big eater, it can be shared. Compared to usual Bibimbap, it does not have sunny side up egg, but they have shredded scrambled egg on the side with carrots and dried nori in strips. Bibimbowls are also available in savory flavors such as Original, Fiery Spice and Creamy Curry. Will I try again? Yes, and to try other flavors of Bibimbowl since I only tried the Original (Chicken). They also now have Bing Su! It's good to know that they are conceptualizing and innovating continuously (Ko-Dog, Bing Su, KFrost, Chicken/Kimchi Fries) to keep the customers on coming back. If you're on a budget but want a quick Korean food - BonChon Bibimbowl is the answer!

BonChon got me hooked on their Chicken Bibimbowl. And yes, i feel so late in trying dem yummy bowls as i believe they added this on their menu a while back. The visit was accidental as i was feeling a lil fickle while i was waiting for CMA at Shang. My patience is too thin for a fine / casual restaurant. Fast food is my only option. Fell in line at the almost empty counter of Bon Chon and decided to try the spicy bibimbowl.Waited for a couple of minutes and my food is served. It is a colorful bowl with seaweed, veggies, chicken and a generous amount of gojuchang paste. I like the mild hint of spice and how it blends well with the seaweed. I loved every bite. I loved it so much i went back to the nearest branch the next day. BonChon created a genius dish - delicious, affordable and fast.
