I love vegetables, but I feel kind of iffy about veggie meat. But my date wanted us to have a quick lunch at Bodhi (he's been a long-time Bodhi fan), so I went along with him, para na rin ma-try ko. I was glad that I didn't push myself and recommended we should eat somewhere else (which I usually do whenever we go out hehehe). We chose a ₱119 meal consisting of two viands, one cup of rice, and a drink. I went for a sweet-and-sour "pork" and a tofu-and-bok choi stew combo meal while my date chose a ginisang ampalaya and "beef" broccoli combo meal.At first bite of my sweet-and-sour dish, I could not believe that it was an imitation pork (gluten, actually). Imagine had I not been told that this was a vegetarian dish, I won't really know. But later on I could discern the starchy afterbite. But well, what could you expect from a vegetarian place? But it was really a tasty and yummy dish. However, I preferred my other viand, the tofu and bok choi stew -- all natural, no fake meat or gluten there, it was a light but flavorful meal. Kulang na lang ung tausi o black beans. Loved loved loved the tofu.My date also let me try his "beef" broccoli. And know what? The chunks were so tender... the texture was almost like a beef brisket's or a beef sirloin's. Amaaazing! 😊Since it was my first time at Bodhi, I couldn't help but be really amused (and delighted) seeing all those veggie meats, most especially the barbecue -- parang totoong pork BBQ talaga hihihihi nakakatuwa. 😁 Next time I will partner that with their pancit canton. Their lumpiang sariwa looked yummy too (I just took a photo of it but never ordered it, so sa susunod try ko rin yan).

Bodhi rating is 5.0. Food is great and recommendable to all. Everyone should switch to vegetarianism to at least minimise consumption of meat which causes damage to environment  global warming.  Cheers to Bodhi! :-)

This is our go-to place when we want tasty, quick and affordable vegan meals in the Ortigas Business District. Well-loved Filipino dishes are given a vegan/vegetarian twist with vegemeat, mushroom, tofu and bean curd replacements. I highly recommend the kare-kare, the vegan barbecue, adobo, veef with broccoli, veef with ampalaya, sweet and sour, veef steak.  Since this is in a food court, it can get busy and crowded. I just hope that Bodhi will be available in more malls in the Metro. Prices are very affordable. You get to enjoy two viands with rice and a drink for less than P150. They also have a merienda package which includes bread + their vegetarian pancit and a drink.

This is why we eat at food court. When I feel like eating light, this is my personal favorite. The last time I ordered here was karekare. The sauce is light but the overall flavor is just right. My partner always have their asado, I think, which is sweet that complements to its texture. I think this is a genius idea. As a vegetable lover but not vegetarian, I appreciate that this kind exist.

Through the years, we've been visiting SM Megamall I have always considered eating here. Not just the taste is good, the price is always reasonable, and serving size is very generous. As always, my 2 viands are asado and sweet & sour. 👌
