Back in Makansutra for a quick lunch before heading to SM Cinema to claim my prize. This time I tried the Bao Ji Xiang Fried Paper Wrapped Chicken Noodles & Singapore Chicken Rice.For Php190.00 I got a solo Singapore Chicken Rice served with soup, soy sauce and ginger sauce. As requested, I had chicken thigh and it's so tender that compliments with the chicken rice and sauces served. Singapore Chicken Rice - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5I will going back again to try the Fried Paper Wrapped Chicken Noodles. No Singaporean Hawker Center is complete without the national dish of Singapore, Hainanese Chicken Rice, lah!Bao Ji Xiang gives justice to this all-time favorite of mine. For half a chicken at Php400, it's a steal that's good for 2 to 3 people. Pair it with their chicken rice. The chicken is cooked perfectly with enough fatty skin to make every bite stand out. They do have very good ginger and chili sauces. Unfortunately, their soy sauce isn't the sweet syrupy one that I'm looking for.The chicken is even good the day after coz we got to bring some leftover.

Chicken Rice almost there but not quite. When you've tried the Chicken Rice in Singapore's Hawker Markets, you'd know what I'm talking about. Still, Bao Ji Xiang's Chicken Rice is a great alternative if you're craving for Hainanese (did I spell it right?) chicken rice.

The last stall we tried during our trip to Makansutra few days ago. We got Fried Paper-Wrapped Chicken from here. The chicken is wrapped in paper to seal the flavors in. Chicken is flavorful with their heirloom recipe of rice wine, soy sauce and ginger. Tastes good.

My husband ordered the Hainanese Chicken Rice when we ate at Makan Sutra. He was given the wings part- it would have been nice if the breast part was given though it was his fault he didn't have it replaced. He said he didn't enjoy the chicken so much - it wasn't steamed really well according to him. But he liked the hainanese rice. I also took a bite and I liked it as well though I think it almost tasted like tinola soup. I'd like to try the roasted chicken on my next visit.
