This restaurant presents a stylish set-up for a lunch meeting. We have been seated at the window-side. The staff is actually attentive and we get our requests very quickly. Shared the Ceasar Salad (P528), Spinach and Artichoke Dip (P288), Beef Stroganoff Fussini (P568), Truffle OilMushroom Pizza (P658), and the best-seller Truffled Oysters (P368). In consensus, I think it is overrated. Meal is adequate however the food seems average. No bursts of flavors even the truffle in the oysters didn't float.

For mother's day, my children and I picked to possess lunch (that is our second time actually) at Balboa at the East Wing of EDSA Shangri-La Plaza Mall. It had been a great choice for a quiet and plush lunch. Needless to say, we can not miss theirbestselling prosciutto, mushroom and arugula, and spinach and artichoke (order with pull-apart bread served really warm) to begin with. Then we'd the prawn, mango and avocado salad with dressing privately to taste. For mains, we'd the prawn and garlic and dry-rub U.S. shortplate, and my teens favorite the 4-cheese pizza. We'd forget about room for dessert except my hubby who ordered Corazon's special halo-halo from across, that is we think a sister restaurant. Our second visit was as delightful because the first one and can surely have a 3rd. Their excellent service is really a plus, too!

Had lunch here.. food were delicious however, not something you'll crave for. The ambience is ok since it is situated in a retail center. Food is fairly price I guess, due to its location in a mall. Just ok for me personally.

I chanced upon this place when I visited the Shangri-La Plaza Mall - The menu looks intriguing initially therefore i tried dining. I ordered a clam chowder soup, it looks good and elegant however the taste is super disappointing. It tasted burn! The sidebread is good, though! The angus beef ravioli is fairly intriguing - once the angus ravioli arrived, it disappoints me! The ravioli isn't fresh!! I was disappointed! The calamari salad did some redeeming factors however, not quite. Lastly, the pizza - the dough was okay however the toppings NOT!! Overall, if you need a nice ambience with poor food choices, this is a great place! I'll not advocate this resto to anyone who wanted good food! I'll never go back to this restaurant!

Made a decision to try the porchetta & truffled mushroom rice. I pronounced it as por-tse-ta to that your man (probably manager however, not sure) wrinkled his forehead attempting to know very well what the hell I was ordering. He asked is this something I saw outside to, Isaid yes. Apparently he understood. He personally delivered the meals announcing here's your por-ke-ta. While eating the person came once more to ask the way the por-ke-ta was -was it crunchy outside but soft and juicy at exactly the same time (it had been). I specially loved the truffled rice. I ordered 250g of the porchetta w/c I believe is wonderful for 2 people at the very least. Want it more minus the patronizing attitude

The seafood pasta with tomato sauce was superb. Salad and pizza were pleasant. Oyster had more cheese than oyster but good nonetheless. I had an excellent time with my friends and their kids.

I really like it here. The meals is actually delicious and the ambience superb. Individuals were really feiendly and incredibly accomodating. I love that I reach people watch while looking forward to my food to be served. Will eat here again for certain.

Where do I even begin? I stroll this mall extremely often, passing this resto regularly,extremely curious. Finally I gave directly into my senses and BEHOLD! Oysters, pasta and pizza to perfection! I cannot wait to use everything in the menu!
