It's Friday night and we seem to run out of options in Mega Mall so we opted to try Bag O Shrimp for my cheat day Fridate!!! The interior looks very casual and port side no fuss.We tried their special offering "Poppa" wherein you will have Big Momma flavored seafoods (shrimp, clams) with sausage mild spicy and sweet that comes with 2 rice and 2iced tea not bad for 1k++ we enjoyed the seafood with its mild spicy sauce that's savory sweet and burst of spices at the same time 👍🏻The seafoods are fresh soft and well cooked not over cooked which is good.We had calamari crispy outside but the squid inside is kind'a rubbery. Then we tried the onion rings which I love better than the calamari crispy and not too oily plus the honey mustard sauce which is sweet and creamy! This place will really convince you to eat with your hands! Love the idea of plastic bib to protect your clothes from all the spill and stain it's definitely finger lickin good!!!

We ordered the Bag O' Momma. Food is okay but what really concerns me is that the restaurant uses too much plastic - from where the food is served to the bib, gloves, and laminated paper for the table tops, which I think promotes plastic wastage and garbage accumulation (though I hope they have SOPs on garbage segregation and waste disposal). We're in the century that is becoming eco-sensitive and eco-friendly. Probably instead of serving the food in a plastic bag, use conventional serving wares like metal or glass bowls that would incorporate your theme of the sea/ beach side/ etc. For the plastic bibs, it can be modified to a material that is less toxic for the environment like the use of paper. Also, to serve the bibs and gloves upon request so that it would not be put to waste if the diners opt to use their bare hands and not use the gloves and bibs. I also request the diners to just wash their hands before and after eating so you really get to feel the act of "pagkakamay" and boodle fighting (and save the environment by not using the plastics). Not sure if they have their handwashing facility for their guests, so I hope they install one if they don't have. For the laminated paper used on the table tops, I suggest that instead of using two papers that overlap, create a paper that fits the table on its own, or rather, use banana leaves instead for a more eco-friendly approach. I really hope the owners/ management will look into this matter, and for the diners, to be more sensitive to our environment. God bless and more powers!

Since is peak hrs, we looked for a place to dine and found this resto empty. We tried their soup (clam chowder) and taste is just fine... thought it is something special since its the only soup they offer...Then we also tried the fried oyster something and there are shells on it that made it unedible...Their shrimp bucket and onion rings paid it off... we like it... :-)Visited again this branch... felt disappointed... it took a while for our order to be serve then whe we followed up our order, they thought we add extra... waaah... been charge 2x...And the staff? They are like all frowning and all... so disappointed. We'll not come back again. Not a good experience.

My boyfriend and I ate at Bag O’Shrimp while waiting for his sister to finish her errands. We started off with Calm Chowder (Php 165) it was ok but wasn’t as thick. We got shrimps and calms, taste was ok. We just were put off by the service crew we asked nicely what she recommends for flavoring and just looked at us then pointed a random flavor. she didn’t explain why. Service was slow too but got the bill right away.

Experience:Prominent things in this restaurant would be the hanging decoration near the lights and walls, gloves for eating, seafood in a bag, and a sink for hand washing. There's no restroom inside but Atrium's is just right across.Clam Chowder:This was a good way to start our meal! Soup was thick, having a creamy texture that was filling enough along with some clam.Seafood Specialties:Main course of today's meal was mussels and shrimp. Before anything, I gotta mention how fun it was to eat everything with plastic gloves on. I've tried this with wings elsewhere and now seafood at Bag O' Shrimps; just pure fun! I still dare to put aside using a spoon to eat the rice drenched in their amazing sauces.Shrimps were fresh plus easy and fun to peel before dipping back into its amazing sauce before eating. We added corn to everything and even that was fun to eat. It's a bit messy on the mouth though.Mussels were impressively large and probably the largest I've seen so far. You can easily tell from the shells already and when you see the actual mussels, amazing! The sauce was just as tasty as the shrimps' but with a bit more spice.Service:Standard good service!Good luck eating the rice with your hands. I'd also love to hear everyone's thoughts! Did scooping a handful and pushing it up with your thumb still work with the gloves on. 😄

Foods are really good! We ordered the mussels and shrimps. The best!! Most especially their mussels. Waiting for food is not really quite that long. What can I suggest is, your aircon needs to be fix. Mejo mainit inside.

The major factor for giving a pretty high rating of 4 is the food. I love their Bag O’ Momma sauce - it’s spicy and garlicky. We always get the Big Poppa set which is good for 2 (maybe 3 if you’re not that hungry and just order extra rice and drink). The Big Poppa set is ₱1,099 for a pound of shrimps, 250g mussles, 250g clams, sausages and corn in Bag O’ Momma sauce plus 2 cups rice and 2 glasses iced tea. I didn’t really compute exactly how much you save by getting this set vs. ordering the items individually but I’m sure you’ll save a few pesos and it’s convenient especially when you’re too hungry to think. 😂They encourage you to eat with your hands and will only provide gloves at first. But make sure to ask for at least a spoon because you gotta scoop up the sauce and garlic bits and top it over your rice and on the corn too before biting into it! I like the corn that was served to us yesterday, it was sweet and tender. And of course, the shrimps were cooked perfectly.

My boyfriend and I dropped by to satisfy our craving for seafoods. And it was soooooo satisfying. The resto encourges the customers to use their hands so I did eat with bare hands and it's worth it. There are really just a lot of single use plastics. I'd give it a 5 if it were that way. But all in all, it was great.
