Just a simple chicken inasal restaurant. Nothing special, doesn't have anything that sets it apart from the others.Their Lapaz Bachoy didn't taste good at all. The noodles felt a bit too hard and the chicharon tasted like they were in the storage for months.Their chicken inasal's nice though, always moist and tender. But again, nothing special. The only saving grace is the tasty Baticolon, but that's coming from someone who loves grilled chicken gizzard. The service is okay, though looking at the faces of the crew I think some of them really weren't happy with what they're doing. The place itself is nice and clean, but I find some mang inasal braches to have better interiors and are more hygienic.All-in-all, is it better than Mang Inasal?: Most Mang Inasals.Am I coming back? On less exciting days i guess..Taste: ☆☆☆Service: ☆☆☆Ambiance: ☆☆Location: ☆☆Value for money: ☆☆☆

They have the best chicken inasal! Their bangus belly sinigang (cooked in tamarind) was cooked in real tamarind (and not the instant). Also love their bangus sisig which is not greasy. Their food servings are quite huge which is great especially when you are with family. But their set meals are most preferrable that also comes with yummy buko pandan dessert and ice tea that are not so sweet. Menu prices are very economical.Service is very efficient and staff are very attentive. Their ambience is not that spacious but not congested; very clean and organize. Hope to come back for more! ☆☆☆☆

I appreciate that they arranged our group of 36 to fit and eat almost at the same time. For that large of size, we only spent 7k. This resto is quick fix on your Bacolod craving. A must order is their signature pecho or chicken breast. The veggies are good especially for the price range they offer it for. The kids that were with us enjoyed so much the barbecue and garlic rice. Can't go wrong with a franchise like this.

Have been going to a few of the Bacolod Chicken Inasal restaurants more recently and I must say they do keep the famous Inasal chicken very consistent in texture and taste. Again at this branch we tried the famous and best seller Sarap Meal. This has to be the Sarap Ng Buhay Meal. We selected the Inasal na Paa (thigh part) with eggplant salad, garlic rice, buku Pandan and 16oz nestea house blend. Once again taste and texture of the chicken was awesome. Besides that we also order another seafood best seller called Sizzling Gambas. Shrimp dish stir fried in the special Bacolod Chicken Inasal sauces. This was pretty awesome however just a little to salty this time but otherwise it's an awesome dish.

Bacolod Chicken Inasal is an old reliable favorite for me. My favorite combination of flavors is that of chicken inasal (usually paa) with its dipping sauce of calamansi, siling labuyo and soy sauce, garlic rice and dinuguan. Sadly though, the resto does not provide chicken oil to go with your meal. I'm sure my cholesterol level thanks the resto for this move but my taste buds don't appreciate it one bit.

This is another place to experience great chicken inasal. However, the restaurant offers a number of other Bacolod fare. These include Kadyos, Baboy, Langka (KBL) and Kansi (the Ilonggo version of Bulalo with a more sour taste), among others. If not that into large meals, the restaurant also offers merienda that is good for a quick bite. Indulge in suman, batchoy, and so much more. Since I am there for the inasal, I suggest taking advantage of the Sarap ng Buhay meal (around PHP219 if I recall correctly). This includes a choice of paa (leg) or pecho (breast) chicken inasal, garlic rice, an eggplant salad, a small bowl of buco pandan, and a 16 ounce glass of house blend iced tea. Not a bad deal. The chicken is juicy and has that distinct grilled smell and taste. That taste is also duplicated in the eggplants used in the salad. It is a surprising contrast to the sour onions and the sweet tomatoes also in the salad. The rice is already orange and tasty thanks to the chicken oil, but more is available upon request. I recommend the following desserts to cap off the meal and leave the palate with a satisfying taste: Toto's Suman Surprise and Toto's Suman Negro (Toto being the name of the restaurant's little boy mascot). They include suman flanked by long slices of mango and immersed in either vanilla or chocolate cream sauces, respectively. The initial bite of warm suman gives way to the cool and sour bite mango, before ending with a flood of chilly and sweet sauce. I think they use melted ice cream for the sauces, since it does taste familiar. Perhaps I will take the time to ask those questions during my next visit. Until then, I busy myself with wondering how it is made.

One of the more under rated chicken places in the metro, Bacolod chicken inasal offers the classic negros dish in traditional fashion unlike the more commercial and sweet Mang Inasal. I personally love the achuete oil on their rice and lumpiang shanghai. It really elevates the creaminess of the fried dishes.

LONG REVIEW. First part is about the food. Skip to the middle for my real issue. Asked my family if we could eat here because I was craving inasal after reading about Bacolod in a magazine. We ordered inasal, batchoy, some sort of sawsawan made with tomato, onions, and fried dilis, and a milk chocolate gelatine for dessert. (The latter two was new on the menu, it's not published here)The only thing I've tried here before was the batchoy. Their batchoy is pretty good but they serve it warm. Considering they put raw egg in it, I'd expect it to be piping hot so the egg gets cooked when you mix it. The inasal was ok. It was a bit too sour for my liking but the meat was perfectly cooked. I liked the sawsawan. It added the saltiness that lacked in the chicken. The dessert was not what I was expecting. It was really dense and creamy for a gelatine dessert. It tasted like a creamy Milo. It was good but the flavor and texture just didn't match well for me.Service was good. The waiters were really polite and they talk to each other in their native tongue which kinda makes the experience more "authentic".But my real issue here, the reason why I decided to review it, was the ambience. I hate restaurants that "feel" dirty. It makes me question if the food I'm eating or the utensils I'm using are clean. This place didn't make me want to get out as fast as I can, like some fastfood restaurants I can think of, but I wasn't that comfortable dining in either. I saw and heard washing near the area where they place the orders to be served. I also saw a guy "washing" the utensils by swishing it around in a bin. Also, the waiters were eating crablets by the counter while working, even walking around while chewing. It was such a turn off. Will I eat here again? Maybe 20/80. Just for the batchoy.
