We Ordered:Angus Beef Salpicao = 160 *I tried this because of high recommendation from popular foodies here in website. It is affordable meal with generous amount of glossy beef chunks with visible flakes of garlic. However it's way too salty for my palette and its aftertaste is over powering, comparable when having wasabi. We are group of five and all of us felt bad that the salpicao we are anticipating to eat is not good at all. This was a visit yesterday July 24, around 5:15pm to be exact. Beef Tenderloin Steak = 280 *I am confident of ordering this because I was thinking this would be a quality steak. It was served in a sizzling plate with blanched vegetables and a big scoop of mashed potato. The steak is not tender the way I was expecting it to be, (because it is a tenderloin steak) which I asked to the food attendant if its really tender. I was not sure why the beef is a little bit rubbery, either it was precooked ahead of time or the steak itself is not fresh which is a sad experience. However, their mashed potato is highly commendable. Very rich flavor and creamy, the best mashed potato I had so far. T-Bone Steak = 200 *Similar with the Beef Tenderloin Steak, it was served in a sizzling plate with veggies and rice. With the three main dishes we tried, this is the star dish. Beef is tender and juicy, with generous flood of gravy that made it more delicious. On the side veggies, I noticed the carrot is extra sweet and flavorful, maybe because its organic, but I liked it very much. Fresh Lemonade = 70 *A very affordable source of happiness. This really taste fresh and refreshing that would immediately detoxify some accumulated fats and toxins. Highly recommendable.I want to visit them again to validate their Angus Beef Salpicao and to try some other dishes, because they really offer flavor packed meals. I just wish that their steak meals can be serve on big plates to give enough space for slicing the meat. I find their sizzling plates very small and personally, I find steak meals extra appetizing served in big plates. Additionally, I hope they ask customers the sugar level we want on our fresh lemonade because mine was too sweet which led me came back to their stall refilling my glass for more water. Nevertheless, Auntie May's food are worth a try! I'm sorry for giving an average rating but I am willing to modify this on my next visit after trying again their Angus Beef Salpicao and Steak.

The truly popular Auntie May's is here at Pioneer Street Market! It was such a treat to meet Auntie May and hear her many stories! Auntie May's sells home-made quality food using various recipes concocted by Auntie May and her family. Their award winning Angus Beef Salpicao is a recipe made by her youngest son, their Escargot (ginataang kuhol) is a recipe inherited from her mother and their U.S Beef Tapa is a recipe from her mother-in-law. Auntie May's serves quality food and each dish is prepared with love; perfect for those longing for home cooking! for the full story on pioneer street market and the recent event. please visit my blog.

First time to taste Auntie May's, I didn't know that it's already known(too much out of the loop nowadays). We got to meet Auntie May in person and heard the backstory of how it was came to known. Family made recipes that were unfamiliar but good and with high quality was their selling point. I tried their Angus Salpicao matched with their zesty tasting lemonade. The lemonade wasn't your ordinary lemonade as it was zesty and sweet at the same time. The Angus Salpicao was phenomenal. It has this balanced taste and a little bit of umami which makes you want and crave more for it. It surprisingly has rice below so true asians get their stomachs filled with goodness.

This is my first time to eat a snail. Thank you Auntie May's for giving me the chance to try your Escargot. It was properly clean and cooked. The meat inside the shell is crunchy and there is no foul smell. A perfect pulutan for everyone :)

Pioneer St Market is one of the newest Food Hall in Mandaluyong City. The Food Hall support our local farmers and small businesses to market their products. One of the participating restaurants in Pioneer St Market is called Auntie May’s. Auntie May’s offers delightful Filipino cuisine. During the event we had tried the following:🐮 Ginataang Kuhol - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5🐮 Callos - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5🐮 Angus Beef - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 4/5Surprisingly, the ginataang kuhol tastes so good. The coconut milk balances the fishiness of the dish. For me, the callos need to be eaten with rice, it will lessen the saltiness of the dish. Overall, they served delicious food and make us busog all night.#ilovetoeatph 😃❤️

We ordered their T-bone steak and it was a little hard. The taste was okay. Staff were friendly. Service time was about 20mins. They give discounts to PWD and Senior Citizens.

Pioneer Street Market is a fusion of different cuisines. Too many food selections to choose from and Auntie May's always catches our eye because aside from it close to the market's enteance, it also offers different steaks and viands that can catch your attention.(F)ood:We ordered the Tenderloin steak and the Korean beef stew. The steak was kind small but it was cooked perect medium rare and that sauce was also good. I am not sure though of the side veggies, taste a little soggy. The serving size of the Korean Beef stew was suprising because it has a lot of beef and sauce in it. I think ser ing size was good for three persons, but we would prefer it to be a little spicier. They offer chilled viands too that you can take out and just heat and eat at the convenience of your own home. They are now also offering fresh lemonades to quench your thirst. Though we think some food are quite pricey, the taste compensates for it.(A)mbience:The stall is situated near the entrance and some great menu with pictures so you would know what you will order. The place has lots of seats so you can choose while waiting for your order.(B)utler Service:The staff took out the food at just about thr tight amount of waiting time. Not much interaction since we want to check out the other stalls.
