The window into Filipino cuisine, is how I consider Abe :) Bamboo rice, lechon cubano, sinigang sa ube, sinuteng baby squid, and binukadkad na plapla are just some of the dishes we keep coming back for. It's also our family's automatic restaurant of choice for balikbayans and foreign visitors. Always excellent service and food quality at this branch.

Food is delicious, Used to cater the A list crowd now has branches all over. One of the best restos that serve pinoy dishes. Kinda expensive considering it's in the mall. Overall I'll give it a delightful experience.

We ordered morcon, chicharon bulaklak, tuna sa panga and enseladang mangga. There’s no extraordinary taste with their food not worth the price for morcon it tastes like embotido with tomato sauce. The chicharon bulaklak is not so crispy. The only food that has a good taste is Tuna sa panga and enseladang mangga

thumbs up for the quality of food. speed of service is ok, but the quality of service, bad! waiters were nowhere to be seen...maybe understaffed!

Quality of food is worth the price. We had lumpiang sariwa, tidtad and bistek. The lumpiang sariwa and the sauce complemented each other. The bistek was amazingly nice, the meat was tender and the sauce was really tasty.Altho serving says 2-3 pax per viand. If you are a heavy eater this may just serve for 2 pax.Worth the money. Will come back!

Abe : Where Good Friends DineI have been seeing this restaurant for so long but I haven't dine here yet (is it because I do not have Good Friends? ahahhaha!!)But I was able to find and meet new friends because of this event I was invited to. The LJC Group conducted the LJC FESTIVAL OF FLAVORS event to also help raise funds for Cancer patients, I think this is done yearly. And Abe Restaurant will be adding 2 new dishes to their menu to support this yearly event. The new dishes are Pininyahang Manok and Klassik Tortang Talong...Hmmm we do have this for lunch at home, pininyahang manok for special occassions and tortang talong for everyday hahah...My verdict:PININYAHANG MANOK( Chicken stewed in coconut milk with pineapple and vegetables)PHP 425.00This is something new to my taste buds, because when I cook this dish at home, I use evaporated milk instead of coconut milk. What I like about this dish is the consistency of the sauce because of the coconut milk, the richness of the flavors which I find balanced between the taste of the pineapple and coconut milk. Chicken meat was tender and juicy, and the vegetables are cooked just right.I find it pricey for the serving size though.Taste: 4.5/5Serving size: 3.5/5Price: 3.5/5KLASSIC TORTANG TALONG(Traditional eggplant omelette with minced pork)PHP 230I find it pricey, sorry! But the taste is good just like at home.Maybe I would be in awe if this have been a CRISPY one, haha why am I asking for something unusual, the dish says it is CLASSIC! Oh well, just my opinion! ahhaha But i like it though!Taste: 4/5 just like at homeServing Size and Price: 3/5These dishes will be available on Abe menu on Sept.5,2018 in all branches of Abe. So come taste the Homey Filipino dishes with your friends, have fun and dine light!HAPPY EATING!

Bulalo is fine, I expect the flavor need stronger. The dish named “a day after” (lechon) is really delicious, sweet and sour. Sisig is not good as I expect. Overall, I still satisfied with this meal.

This September is LJC Group’s month, that’s because it was Larry J. Cruz’ birth month and to celebrate it, as a tribute, they will release two new dishes on all their 9 brands for us to try.  Pininyahang Manok – Chicken stewed in coconut milk with pineapple and vegetables. The flavor of the curry and creaminess of the coconut milk was heavenly. It tasted so good that you will definitely be wanting more rice in it. Klassic Tortang Talong – traditional eggplant omelette with minced pork. This is how we use to make our Torta back home. It just felt like really at home. I was able to enjoy the simplicity of this dish. It is simple yet very memorable for me.

I had the chance to try Abe with my college friends. One of my friend came from US and been craving for Filipino dishes. The resto's ambiance was nice, have dim light and quiet. There were not much people dinning at that time (1pm). Food: 5/5 - I can't recall all the names of the food we ordered though I can say all of were really good. Good for those who craves/longing for Filipino food. Something that will make you feel home. Price: 3/5 - Because the serving size is a bit petite in my opinion but for the quality I guess I'll give it a 4.Place: 4/5 - Spacious and clean. Service: 5/5 - Staffs were attentive and even supported us on surprising two of my friends for their upcoming birthday All in all, we had a great time at Abe, where good friends dine.
