😚FOLLOW threelittlebites AT website AND IG😚FOODFORTHOUGHT:🍉Tempura Bento BoxThis is the best value for money plus the rave is legit that their tempura is one of the best in Manila! The bento box is a big meal consisting of 3 large shrimp tempura and 1 veggie tempura, 2 pcs. gyoza, tuna and salmon sashimi, rice, side dish, and miso soup. Their sashimi is not very fresh though. If you are not craving for some sashimi, maybe it is better to just indulge in their golden twmpura moriawase instead of the bento box.REALFEELS: The interiors are aiming for fine dining feels with its dim lights and dark wopd finishing but the chairs and the overall feel? including the friendly but quite rough service shout casual dining.PURSEPOWER: It is in the middle. Not cheap but definitwly not pricey for a Japanese Restaurant. The bento box costs 650PhP. with a can of coke and service charge, a big meal for one totalled to PhP750.BROWNIEPOINTS: They have free little but yummy appetizers and the staff are more than happy to give you three instead of just the usual two little bites 😉

Ambience:Restaurant has two floors with seats outside facing Hole in the Wall. Aircon is just right. Non-smoking outside. You'll also find a few seats near the sushi bar. Prices are kinda steep so it's better to have a food buddy.Menu:website's menu isn't updated but it somewhat helps you know what to order in advance. The actual menu has photos of the food already. With the page count, it was tricky to pick something.Food:Sake Sashimi (Salmon) has superb freshness and taste. It has 7 thick slices of high-quality goodness! Rainbow Maki was pretty tasty as well and the salmon and mackerel go together nicely. Free hot and cold tea are served here.Bandwidth Test via Globe:Fast!Ping 38 msDownload 7.3 MbpsUpload 0.64 MbpsBill:It took them awhile to get my bill and serve the change. I also realized, though late, that they didn't add the items correctly. I didn't provide a tip anymore since this happened plus the 4% S.C.(50% discount reservation via Eatigo)

When was the last time a food tickled your tongue? One of the best gyudon I've had. 😍😍😍 Buy 1 take 1 pa yung Ramen every Monday 💏 Mababait yung staff and fancy ang ambiance 😍#paydaytreat #thesearchforbestramen #japanesefood #website #matakaw #rewardsasarili #katasngovertime

Celebrated the Valentines Day here which is a special day for me and my husband. However, there is no extra ordinary on their food yet it is pricey. So sad.

We arrived half past 7 Friday night and there’s just one other table. I thought it’s a lovely and cool place not to be filled with dining customers. Food was great and do commend the staff for fast service. Food are well presented and taste is great too. Enjoyed all. 8-ish the place was full, i was wrong 🤣🤣🤣 love to come back again 👍🏻😊

What we tried:- Ushi Ebi Tempura Crunchy Roll (prawn tempura drizzled with tempura sauce)- Gyoza (classic Japanese dumpling)- Katsudon (pork rice bowl topped with egg)- Okonomiyaki (Japanese pancake)Taste: very good, but if you’ve been to Japan, you’ll know it’s 90% Japanese and 10% Filipino/Western. They also serve good rice tea and you know it’s good if your fiancé (who’s not a fan of tea) finishes a cup. Service: fast; staff is friendlyAmbience: small space and low ceiling, but again, if you’ve been to Japan, this is actually even more spacious than their restos. Recommended? YES

Service was alright. The food however was not so good as compared to the Yumi branch in Promenade. Ordered a Gyu Aburi Roll. Rice was too cold while the sirloin was hot so it was offsetting to the taste.

Had the club sashimi and it was a bit overpriced. Serving was small although the fish tasted fresh. We had the yakitori skewer platter and the sauce was a tad bit salty (and still overpriced, considering the serving). Given the high price of their menu items you would expect good service, but our experience was otherwise. Service was tremendously slow. They had our order wrong but we were hungry so we let it go. Had to call for the waiter thrice to order their tea, thrice again for the bill. They were taking so long we had to approach the chefs behind the counter to pay. The place wasn't even full. I recommend Nihon Bashitei instead.

Ordered our usuals in any Japanese Restaurant - Salmon Sashimi, California Maki, and Chicken Teriyaki. Their Salmon Sashimi was okay, nothing out of the ordinary. But their California Maki and Chicken Teriyaki did not disappoint! We also tried their Rainbow Maki, it was delicious, but I think it lacks a little more flavor.I would've given them a much higher rating, but I think their staff also needs a little bit more attentiveness.

Unlike the regular izakaya bars and restaurants in Japan which tend to limit food choices to their particular specialty (e.g. ramen only or sushi only),the Filipino counterparts offer a wide range. This is the motif of Yumi - Ramen, Sushi, Teppan. The quaint resto is located at the corner of the 4th floor of Century Mall. The place is tastefully designed and gives the chic Japanese vibe. But there's something in their ramen and sushi that did not turn me Japanese.

YUMI Location

YUMI is located at Fourth Floor, Century City Mall, Kalayaan Avenue, Poblacion, Makati City. This is a Japanese restaurant near the Century City Mall. This restaurant is very popular and has a good reputation. Many food bloggers also visit this restaurant to make mukbang.
