Just for a little tribute social media especially IG, Yabu was the first food review I had in SM Megamall Atrium but since Filipinos loves Yabu it branches out to different locations. What I love Yabu when it comes with their Katsu set and other meal set not just with its premium quality meat and ingredients also with their unli rice, cabbage, fruits and iced teas.

Yabu will always be our all time fave! I love everything here especially their service.I am so happy they now have a branch in Glorietta.I ordered their mechi katsu set and as always it was amazing. Iba talaga ang katsu ni yabu!!!The only hiccup, we experienced was the mixed up with the bill and it took awhile before they gave our bill but overall amazing service.

Had dinner here at with two of my friends. Have to give it to the staff at this branch who were all very attentive and courteous. Food was divine, but I think I was endeared to Yabu even more because of the excellent service. Keep it up, guys!

I call Rosu Katsu / Menchi Katsu / Ebi Katsu my comfort food. I go here to destress, to indulge, to give an “extra” to my day. I find so much comfort in their refillable hot Miso Soup, fresh Cabbage Salad, fluffy Japanese Rice, and Mixed Fruits. The dressings and dips also compliment all the food. On top of all that, service is great!

I have not eaten Katsu for a long time but my experience here was truly worthwhile. I enjoyed the people who are very accommodating despite it was the day before the community quarantine. I had ample veggies to eat and if it were lunch I would have eaten more Japanese Rice because the Katsu was very tasty and the sauce is so tangy that it requires a little bit more carb. Would definitely go back to try curry or their katsu with radish.

For me, Yabu ranks way lower than Maisen in terms of service and atmosphere. Food plating is less appetizing. The place is a little chaotic because there are more guests coming in. It isn't easy to catch the staff's attention.

Your usual katsu, but with cheese. 🧀 I ordered the hire and menchu katsu. Especially loved the unlimited serving of fruits, which at that time was pineapple and watermelon, the latter being by fave fruit. 🍉

You will never go wrong eating at yabu. While the menuu is limited to katsu or fried breaded meets and seafoods, you will be assured that the restaurant specializesin this kind of food and will only churn out the best katsu in town. The offerings are impeccably prepared. The service alway top notch. The price very reasonable. The only down side os tjeir oshinko is limited to their homemade cucumber pickle that is really uninspiref
