I'm going on a limb here and say that my experience at Writer's Bar for Afternoon Tea has been the best so far. 💕The ambience is perfect -- a place of peace and quiet solitude (If you are looking for one). And the music from the piano is sublime heaven. The pastries were all delectable, especially the sweets. Oh, I don't have a sweet tooth but I, surprisingly, seemed to have gobbled all the treats in record time.My choice of tea were Mango Fruit and White Vanilla Grapefruit were awesome. Yeah, I had two pots.Service was impeccable as Neri catered to all my needs. I asked for an adapter for my phone charger and they went an extra mile looking for one.I truly had a great afternoon on the 1st day of April. And this was no April Fools day. It was a great afternoon while curled up with a book as I listen to ambient piano music. I will definitely go back.

The tea that I highly recommend for you to sip as you go through the wonderful courses is the Paris tea. It is a fruity black tea with vanilla and caramel notes and a hint of zest from the Bergamot orange.

I honestly cannot recall having a lovelier afternoon tea anywhere else. I was first brought here by my friends who had such good experiences having the lounge's afternoon tea that they raved about it to everyone, and I went there with them to see for myself. It was just as they said, and we had a wonderful time. We have gone there for afternoon tea again and again since. The staff were incredibly attentive to our needs, unfailingly polite, and the service was very prompt and well performed. Our latest visit had us trying the Marie Antoinette tea, two sets between the four of us. I cannot recommend the Paris black tea highly enough to anyone coming for tea here, it's absolutely delicious and was the perfect complement to the savory and sweet treats (from tiny quiches to the scones and to the perfect peppermint discs beneath the lavender macarons) that were served. Each bite was perfect, and the ambiance was just wonderful with the music and surrounding bookcases, and so comfortable and conducive for a lovely chat with friends to catch up. The staff kept well up with our needs, whether it be more milk and sugar or refilling our tea pots with hot water.I absolutely recommend coming to the Writers' Bar for tea, it's the one place I would go to over and over again with no complaints.

Feels like we're cheated. Went here for afternoon tea., everything went well but when i asked for the bill, it's almost doubled. It was because of Charriol charity thing. Charity is ok, if disclosed accordingly. Problem was, i asked the waiter what's the branding in their partries all about but just answered me with charriol event thingy. The tea was soothing, it's loose tea leaf with intense aroma. The patries, sadly it didnt tastes good.

My favorite place to go to if I need a place to work on my laptop while getting coffee. Aside from the coffee, the staff was my favorite part. They were very friendly and welcoming.
